Jasper Ough 1882-1898
Hello Bonnie

Sorry I had Jasper under his Grandparents (Princess White Wings). Not his parents.
Jasper was the son of Benjamin Franklin Ough and Ella Brown.
He dided of Typoid Fever at 16 years of age. He is on numerous Indian & Washington State Census as well as there are two Washington death Citations (1891-1907 & 1883-1960).

I did find a Jasper Ough that died in 1958, but have no idea who he is related to.

I have contact with a living direct desendant of Princess White Wings.

RE: Re: Herbert Caywood
I had run across an obit in some digitized newspapers that mentioned he had been to Alaska on business. It was not an Alaska paper, to be a closer source, so perhaps it is best to ignore the Alaska possibility for the time being!

hey Bonnie, oopss.. I thought yours was the duplicate. My mistake.
If not help with the manager, admins are good at merging duplicates. You prob know that already... :--)

Related to Webber/Thompson/ McKinney clans?
I've seen several notations and memorials that have been added, completed by you, of that family that are entwined in my tree too...

I went to city hall in Isle and they confirmed that Faith Lutheran Cemetery is to the north and Sunset (City) Cemetery is to the south. They told me that Redtop and Holden were to the north someplace and I did not follow up on them in the field. When I got home I looked them up and they are in another county (Aitkin). So someone, who put the Mille Lacs list together knew these two cemetery were north of Isle and assumed they were in Mille Lacs.

I got the GPS readings in the cemetery and took a couple pictures of headstones and markers. One had a memorial but no picture and the other three did not have memorials. So I created the memorials and added the GPS data and now there is a map to go with Faith Lutheran Cemetery. Magic.

See 167029317, 167027195, 167029645, 152081581

As I mentioned yesterday, I found one grave in the wrong cemetery and I suspect there are many more. Someone else can try and straighten it out someday.

Thanks for your help. It was good talking with you.

Isle Cemeteries
I have also done some research and I think I need to visit someone in Isle to be sure of the details.

On a web site called, “USGENWEB” for Mille Lacs County, I found 6 cemetery names in Isle. 2 of them have no location data so only someone in the area may know something about them. Faith Lutheran and Sunset both have the same Township, Range, Section Number and quarter section identification. So I am pretty sure they are together, one to the north and one to the south.

If you look up cemeteries in Find A Grave for MN, Mille Lacs county, you will find Faith Lutheran and Sunset. Faith Lutheran does not have a map and Sunset is identified to the south with an icon.

When I visited the cemetery a day or two ago, I photographed two markers. One for Mayme Manske and one for Ken Tramm. They are 15 feet apart on the south end near Superior Street. I believe Ken Tramm is correctly identified in the Sunset Cemetery. Mayme Manske is identified in the Faith Lutheran Cemetery but the location of her grave marker I believe is in the Sunset area of the Cemetery. I suspect there are likely many people identified in the wrong cemetery.

If you go through the cemetery search for Faith Lutheran and look at the pictures, the first picture is for Faith Lutheran that you took. That sign is in the middle of the two cemeteries on the west side and facing north. I believe that is likely correct. Kathy Mills then added two pictures of the memorial on the very south end of both cemeteries that confuse the locations. The same memorial picture by another person shows up on the Sunset Cemetery page and I suspect that is correct.

I will be in that area on Friday and I plan to stop in Isle and see if I can find someone to tell me the whole story. I will let you know what I find. I will also try to track down the other names from the USGENWEB site.

Have a great day.

Faith Lutheran Cemetery in Isle
Hi Bonnie:

This cemetery does not have a map associated with it. I was going to add the map and after looking at your picture and the other memorial picture and visiting the cemetery, I have a question I hope you can answer: Is this all one cemetery namely, Faith Lutheran, or are there two? Faith Lutheran to the north and another designation for the south part.

Have a great day.
