John R. Dorsett
RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 48624040

My husband and I had formed the idea that John
Randolph Dorsett's father was John Richardson Dorsett. But we are not positive. We are
VERY VERY interested to know why it is believed that John Randolph Dorsett's father was William
Wharton Dorsett.

You are very welcome. Let me know if you see that I have created duplicates. They are a challenge when you link the families. Keep up the good work. Hilda

Dilley stones in Camas cem
I am Updating Berkebile families in America the 6th edition of which the Dilley's are members. Could I have your permission to use the photos you posted in the new edition? You would of course be given credit for them.

RE: Engebregt Leinum
I am doing genealogy, and has in the past year concentrated on relatives who left Norway and settled in the United States. My family comes from Leinstrand, Trondheim and therefore it is natural for me to help with the information I can provide.
There was a lot of people from the area around Trondheim who settled down in USA.
Since the name was often written differently / changed when they came to their new country, I think it may be good that descendants can easily find relatives in Norway by knowing the original names.

RE: Re: Arthur Johnson
Bonnie, I'll look at the cemetery records and see what they show. I'm on the cemetery board and our meeting is coming up. I will see if I can find any information to clarify this.
