Just a note to let you know I found and photographed his stone. It's right next to his sister Elcemina's. Not a lot left to see, sadly, but the dates are pretty clear.

I have deleted mine but I hope you saved the photo for it. If not I am sure I can find it somewhere on my cd collection of headstones.

Keep me posted.

Find a grave and Family Search seen to have bottlenecks of confusion in the old polygamous families about 4-5 generations back. This was an era where sons were named after fathers, and other relatives and women also named their daughters after themselves.
Willian Warren Taylor Sr and Jr histories with pictures can be found on http://taylorassociation.org
Children listed here have two different mothers. Mary Adelia Carbine was 2nd wife to her sister's husband and bore three sons to this marriage, Albert Eugene, James Edgar, and Francis Green.Julia Aner Taylor was mother of the rest. The recent addition of a William Taylor born in 1865 is something to study.
Can't go on names or even dates or suppositions during this era and Find-a-grave is not a perfect source for changing family search.
Mary Adelia Carbine seems to be constantly troublesome. She was plural wife to 3 men after her first husband and greatest love was killed in Winter Quarters, a gathering place before the big trek west. A timeline for her has been compiled by Shane Symes, descendent of her second husband, Robert Cowens Petty.
Most families have quickly forgotten the one of two "twin relics of barbarism", polygamy, but it should be noted for clarity?
Maybe it would be of worth to add the polygamous families to our own family histories.
They have had the children with each wife separated to list with biological mothers but I have no idea how it is done.

Oops, I hit the wrong key... Gary, thank you also for linking Leon Taylor with his parents. This helps us all. :) Pat
|Pat Pitcher||Thanks :)|

Thanks for the transfer of Lois Knapp's memorial, however, as I started working on it I discovered that it is a duplicate.....
Memorial # 43592056 for Lois Louise Knapp Walker is in fact the same person and pre-dates the memorial that you just transferred to me...
I plan to delete 69219625, but wanted to explain my action to you before I did so....
thanks again for the transfer and for your efforts for Find A Grave.

|NW Mountain Man||Merge|
I linked per your request. I have also asked Find A Grave to merge those two duplicates to the 2007 memorials. I have always had good results. I usually send it to firstname.lastname@example.org and never had a problem.
