Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am very fond of exploring cemetery grounds but the majority of the memorials I have created are gathered from a handful of reference books compiled of the entire record listings from individual cemeteries. I have upcoming plans for further burial records throughout Maine and old burial records of New Jersey.

It is a rewarding experience for me to help people locate their ancestors and lost loved ones. God bless! :)

YOUR TOMBSTONE

Your tombstone stands among the rest, Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out...On old gray granite stone.
It reaches out to all who care...It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist...You died...and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you...In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse...Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled...One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left...Who would have loved you so.
I wonder when you lived and loved; I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot...And come and visit you.

Nathaniel Carvill
Please delete Nathaniel Carvill's memorial #103052967. I added this person in 1912. Also could you link Ruth A. Carvill, Memorial# #103053015, to her father at Memorial# 93463402?

Also there are 14 other Carvells in this same cemetery that you have duplicated and I believe they also need to be deleted.

Thank you,
Lloyd

Hi there,
I see you started some memorials for the Eveleth family. The photos are only the cemetery sign. Could I get actual tombstone photos?

Mabel F and Edward J McCormick
Hello, I am trying to find information on both of these names. Edward J McCormick is my Grandfather. He lived in Cold Spring NY for a time. I believe he was born in Rhode Island and died in Connecticut and buried here in Maine.

Mabel F is his 2nd wife. I believe she worked at the Rockland State Hospital in the 1940's.

Any information would be most helpful.

Thank you for your time

Maine
I have a bunch of cemeteries I am going to photograph next time I am up in Maine - I can just add the Gibb's Mill Cemetery to the list! :)

I can photograph every stone in a 1000 interment cemetery in about an hour, so I can see if William is there pretty quickly.

William Drake
I have a jpg saved of the actual obituary and burial notice for William. Can I send it to your email so you can see what you can find out more about this "Rich Cemetery"? This "Gibb's Mill Cemetery" you mentioned sounds promising, but I don't want to create a memorial without any evidence.
As for an unmarked burial, I've found that in 1930, an unmarked burial is rare. Possible the stone is missing or buried over in the past 85 years.
I live in Florida, so I am limited to what I see online and I thought maybe you have access to more resources than I.
Merry Christmas to you and yours and thank you again for the time you've spent helping me with this!

She is in Hagan, where her husband and father are. I did not create this memorial,so not sure of the source. Will have to see what I can find out. Kate was my ggreatmom's sister. Lizzie married my great grandfather, William Allen Johnson.
