I just recently started taking pictures of family members that I have been tracing in my family heritage. I have been having fun with it, so will definately keep putting pictures online. If you have any family members from Rushville, IN and know where there grave is, I would be more than happy to help add the information and update photos.|
Feel free to view the Rush County Genealogical Society website at www.rushcogs.com.
We are currently accepting donations as well as new members.
If you would like a a memorial transfer or update a memorial, please send me a message on my wall and I will get to it when I can, it may take a little bit of time, but will do it.

|Joanna||A photo of Amanda BOYS's stone, please|
I've just found my gr-gr-aunt Amanda (Sack) Boys's memorial - THANK YOU SO MUCH! - and would very much like to have a photo of the stone (if one exists).
Amanda was my Ggf Sack's oldest sister who "fell off the planet" after the 1860 census of Clermont Co, OH, along with her then-3-yr-old son, James Wm BOYS. I've been looking for both for 20 years or so, and on a whim today - or one of those "divine interventions" genies experience from time - I decided to look for her here on Find A Grave, and there she was! The SACK and HITE fams had deep ties to Rush Co, but because she was last "seen" in Ohio, it didn't occur to look in Rush Co despite Amanda's SACKs and HITEs's decades-long ties there.
I'll head over to rushcogs now and see if there are any more happy surprises is store. As for the photo, I won't mind a bit if it has to wait until the Spring thaw!
Have a great day!

|Peggy Fairchild||Jane Richeson|
She is my 5th g grandmother and a daughter of a Rev. War Soldier, Capt. William Levi Bobbitt. A few years ago a beautiful photo of her headstone was included with her memorial. It was very interesting as it included several types of script and various spacing of the letters. The photo has been removed. When I visited the cemetery, the stone is barely legible. Could you repost the photo? Of note, her last name was "Richardson," but apparently the engraver could not spell it.
