Lagniappe! The majority of my memorials has been recorded with GPS (Global Positioning System). The benefit is to identify a grave location within a cemetery without having to walk it down to find a grave. To use this resource either (1) under the memorial "Plot", click on the "blue hypertext coordinates" to open the map looking for the "Green Arrow" indicating grave location. (2) under the memorial "Note", copy & paste coordinates "As Is" into Google Earth to view grave location within the cemetery looking for the "cross-hair +". Suggest you print out a copy of the map prior to your visit to the cemetery. Pay forward, obtain the GPS of your trail to share to others seeking genealogy.|
Kindly honor our veterans. When you visit a cemetery, please record, photograph their marker, post to update memorial, or if not created already, create a new memorial. Lest We Forget!

Thank you, I am glad my readings helped you. That was my intent, to be helpful to others who cannot be here to have a look at the cemeteries for themselves. It is what I have often wished for myself with distant relations buried all over Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina.
Your words of encouragement and thanks are greatly appreciated.

Thank you. I will try to find her obituary. I've looked everywhere online but no luck. My mother may have it around the house. It would be great to get it online. Thank you for your time and dedication. Know you are appreciated!
|Kimberly R||thank you|

Mr.Berry I added information to Joyce Stroud memorial thank you. Thank you for your service to your country.
I wanted to thank you for the transfer and to let you know that it has opened a "floodgate" at Summerfield Cemetery. When I started linking and looking at ancestors I found 2 already in the Brown family at Summerfield that didn't have memorials. I've created those and linked all their parents and spouses also. I cross reference every fact with Ancestry.com and my records. Don't you ever wish that just one person could have all the memorials at a "family" cemetery and when they finish working it, then transfers could be made? I have numerous 2X great grandparent, great grandparents and many of their kin in this cemetery. A mile away from me I have numerous 3X great grandparents. Anyway, thanks again.
