I am originally from Hartsville, Darlington, Florence area of South Carolina. I am related to the Watkins, Williams, Browns, Lloyd, Parnells, Kelleys , Kellys, McDonalds, and many many more. This is a great site for building family history to pass on to our children and grand children. God Bless and have a glorious day!|
King James Version (KJV)
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
My Brother: Dantzler W. Watkins
P.S. Please take a moment to visit the memorial for Morgan Thompson . We went to High School together. Morgan had been living in the Boy's Home for a number of years. He haid been talking for a couple of years about joining the Army as soon as he was old enough so he could get out of the Boy's Home. He joined the Army and came by school to show us his uniform. He had a smile from ear to ear! I will never forget how proud he looked in his dress uniform. He had just completed basic training and was on his way to Vietnam. A few short months later we got word that Morgan had been killed in combat. God bless you Morgan. You made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Freedom is not free. Through the sacrifices of many thousands of men and women like Morgan we have freedom. He was only 18! Cherish this freedom and never let it be taken away.

Thank you so much. All is well.

Yes the date 1888 seems to be wrong. The family
says she was born in 1878, so maybe they engraved
the date wrong.

Thank you for the kind transfers of my relatives
Hello. I noticed that you recently added the plot or Bert Wiggins Sr. His and Mrytle's eldest child named Shirly is my maternal grandmother. Since a lot of my family has passed away, I wasn't sure where they were buried. Thanks for helping ancestry searchers like me find pieces to the puzzle.
|Jo Dye||The Bexleys|
My husband's family is related to the Bexleys. in answer to your question, Robert and Pearl Bexley had a daughter named Eva, so the grave marker you found could be for her. Robert also had a sister named Eva. I don't have any married names for them so I don't know which one that Eva would be. If you ever see something about Augustus, I would appreciate you sharing it. I can't find his grave anywhere! That's Robert's father, A.R. Bexley. Thanks.
