I was fortunate enough to have inherited the genealogical findings that my mother had put together over a thirty year period. A few years after her death I opened the box to sort through the pictures and became immediately hooked. With the many different resources available to me that she didn't have, I have been able to knock down some of her brick walls and I do enjoy the challenge of chipping away at those that remain. Additions to her research have included the families of my in-laws, my daughter-in-law and son-in-law plus the families of my brother-in-law.|
I spend a great deal of time volunteering in the genealogical field as web master of the web sites for 11 genealogical societies. I am Past President of Midwest Historical & Genealogical Society, Wichita, KS and served on their board in other capacities and have done a great deal of indexing of records for them.
I retired, after working many years as an office administrator, in 2007 so now have more time than ever to spend on this hobby.

|Victoria||RE: John James Newman|
thank you for your quick reply. I have some information on them, she probably already has it, but I would be happy to share. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
I also have another cousin who has done quite a bit of research on this family as well.

John James Newman my 3rd great grandfather was the father of Mary Keziah Newman. Do you mind, correcting her middle name on your memorial? # 27260730.
Also, his middle name was James. Also, do you mind connecting his wife Cinderella Katherine Howey Newman to him? 27260756
I see that you created both memorials. I am wondering if you are descended from them as well? If so, I would really like to share information with you.

No, I am not related to Amelia. When I am doing request for findagrave photos, I often will take photos of the surrounding markers and add them to the database. Sorry I am no help.

You're quite welcome. That cemetery is real close by.

Are Elizabeth and John buried in that location as well? I have not made it through the entire cemetery yet, and was wondering if they might be buried elsewhere.
We have a cemetery committee for Prospect, and try to mark a few unmarked graves each year. We also try to replace older illegible graves. We have quite a few to do, but I will keep their names on my list if I end up not finding any markers for them.

You're so welcome. Happy I could help!
|Kathy S. Savoie||RE: Thistlethwaite Photos|
I noticed while I was there that there were other Thistlethwaites and either added their photos if memorials were there and if not created memorials. If there are any that I created directly connected to you, please advise and I will be more than happy to transfer over to you.
And thanks happy to assist.

You are most welcome
|Jeanette Martin||RE: Stabler Tombstone pictures|
I found these in old papers I had gotten from Gale Stabler who lived in Adams County. He had taken these pictures at the local cemetery. He didn't have a computer. It was like Christmas when I found these. We travel no more. Take care. Jeanette
