RE: Margaret Martin
My pleasure. I took the picture in 1995 before moving to Colorado. I was in Ozark County/Douglas County area doing research at some cemeteries. I stopped at a convenience store and there as an older gentleman, who happened to be a Martin Relative. He gave me directions to the cemetery where Margaret was buried. I followed his directions exactly, nearly getting lost myself and completely unsure if I was even in the right area. I parked on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere and walked across a short field to a creek. I waded through the creek over my waste. I found the old farming road leading up to the field at the top of a hill, the vegetation was over 6ft tall so it had not been used for quite some time. I reached the field and was surprised to see it had not been used for more than a decade. I looked for about 1.5 hrs before I was giving up in defeat. As I walked around the edge of the field just barely into the woods where the briars and vegetation were less and only 3-4ft high, I stumbled into a tombstone. I was amazed to see it was the one that I was after, although since i had found the cemetery I did see others. I cleared the debris away and had to dig out the bottom of the stone so you could see the age. I am sorry that the days is not legible, It looks like either 24 or 25 to me. I am glad the rest is so clear. I had always hoped to go back one day and clean up the area, uncovering the other tombstones, but at this point I would have no idea how to find it. Good luck on your research.

Hello
Donna Hi!

I haven't talked to you in so long! I hope life is treating you well. Sorry I lost contact, but I moved and life changed, the kids get older and busier and I had less time for research. Anyway just wanted to say hi and let you know I'm still working on the family history when I can.

Take Care,
Amy Crooks

Donna, are you a descendent? Do you know where Dav came from and widho his parents were? Was he the father of Benjamin Kelly who also died in this area of Northumberland County. I think my Isaac Kelly of Crawford County, PA may be kin.
Thanks for any help you can be in clearing up this relationship problem.

RE: Edsel
Donna, Enoch had a brother named Hiram who Brian descends from, making Enoch his Brian's 2nd great grand uncle. I looked in the 1880 Census and Doc. and Sherman are both listed as sons of Enoch as well as the 1900 census. Strange that Sherman's death certificate has his nickname as "Doc". Linda

Edsel "Doc" Roller
Edsel Roller Memorial# 24800504

In my genealogy research I have located the death certificate of Sherman Roller, Edsel's brother. Sherman's death certificate list him as Sherman "Doc" Roller. I notice you have Edsel's nickname as "Doc" also. Because Edsel died before 1910 I was unable to locate a death certificate for him. Wonder if they where both called Doc?

There were 8 children in total. You are lacking Sarah Jane (m. Goss) and Nancy Lucinda (m. Levins).

RE: Clinton Ward.
You're quite welcome. It's tough working both sides of my side and my wife's side of the family at the same time, but fun.
