I have always been interested in history. When I was a boy I wanted to listen to the family elders tell stories, not play with the other children. I spent a lot of time with older neighbors and my grandparents. |
I do some genealogy, Find A Grave, and am working on a history of my small hometown.
I am a pastor (was a school teacher for 28 years before becoming a pastor in 1995) and enjoy working with people. I visit the elderly of the congregation and love their stories.
I have been married to Cathy since 1968. She has been in more cemeteries helping me find graves of ancestors and relatives than she ever imagined but is a great sport about it and a great help.
I have always lived in Indiana, mostly in the northeastern part.
I greatly appreciate all those who do Find A Grave, thanks everyone.

I'd like to ask your permission to use your photo of Eli and Piety Overman on my ancestry.com family tree, with attribution to you and Find a Grave. Thank you very much for your consideration. Gwen
|Doug Bolner||Merrill L Bolner|
I am Merrill L Bolner's youngest grandson through his youngest son, Donald. Was wondering how you had so much info on my family.

Whoops......it's Lloyd, not Cunningham. No wonder I couldn't find them! Got them now.....but thank you! :D

No problem! Thanks for taking care of it. I hate having to send those messages! I really appreciated your message at her funeral. Jan was my great-aunt. Also, I think you had her parents linked in your memorial, is that right? Could you direct me to them? I know it's Earl and Mary Cunningham, but I don't know where they were buried or when they died so I'm having trouble narrowing it down.

You need to link him to his parents. I can't do anything as I don't control these memorials.

Max, I'm sorry I have not responded to this earlier. I have done very little genealogy in the past 2 years. In addition to that, I changed my email address and sent it here incorrectly, so I have not been able to get into the site for some time. 'Finally straightened out, I think.
You are very welcome. I do try to document my data.
I updated the birth date as you requested. It also gave me a chance to shift the photos so his is at the top again. Thanks much for info.

|Ann Grubb||Parnela Snider|
Max, I believe this individual's first name is Parnela rather than "Pamela" per her mother's will on file in Shelby County. The will reads "...Divided among my four Daughters Viz Hannah Vantrece Rebecca Deibert Henrietta Coleman and Parnella Snider..." in one place and in another, "...and the reason why my Daughter Parnela Snider is excluded from any share in the Balance of my effects is that she received her full portion of the Estate when I sold my right of Dower..."
