We are not here by chance.
We have come here through the lives and loves of others.
We could not know them, but they shaped our lives.
They helped us to become who we are.
Their stories can spark a new generation's imagination.
All they discovered about life can inspire us today.

Thoughts to remember ...
Every day, antique shops sell fragments of forgotten lives ... photos, albums, letters.
People saved treasured items, to share their memories and inspire coming generations. They cared for others.
Then someone came along who did not care, or no heir was left.
At that moment, all that was honored for so long, in hands and hearts, became lost.
We see their faces and wonder about them. In their photographs, their eyes meet ours.
All they held dear is for sale -- trinkets.
We must not let that happen to a family.
- - -
If a person doesn't care today ... they are mistaken to think that no one will wonder.
Someday, when a child asks 'where did we come from?', the worst thing for them to hear is 'I don't know, because no one cared.'
A family's heritage is like a chain. Each new generation is a link. It must be kept strong. If one link breaks, the rest of the chain falls away.

A very short note:
Over the years, I've been fortunate to make over 300 heritage searches as a volunteer with RAOGK (Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness).
The joy that comes into a family when they discover their heritage is beyond words.
Please feel free to ask, because I'm happy to help. I'll do my best.

A family's heritage ...
It's more than names, dates, and places.
It is caring about life, and sharing what we learn.
We honor people in respect and gratitude for their lives.
Perhaps they hoped we might care someday.
We do care.

you're most welcome!
I looked at all of your memorials What great pictures, you have quite a treasure. You are fortunate that your family has saved all of those for the future and you have preserved them so well. Thank you for posting them to share.

Thank you for sponsoring Mrs. Roberts memorial page. I have transferred management of her memorial to you.
The photos you added are really nice, such a beautiful lady and a handsome couple. I really enjoy seeing the older photos.
