RE: Jacob Jackson
Why thank you kind sir! Do you happen to have a correct photo?

Jacob Jackson
You added a photo to Jacob Jackson, Find A Grave Memorial# 24591873 and also the same picture to Phebe Duryea Jackson, Find A Grave Memorial# 24591895, that is not correct. The photo you added was for a wife of Jacob Jackson who died in 1952. The Phebe Duryea Jackson in this memorial died in 1889.

I have since taken management of these memorials but I am unable to remove the photo you posted. Could you please remove this photo?

Thanks in advance, ~Ed

RE: Louisa Freytag Augustin
Thank you so much for your quick actions re: Louise (Freitag) Augustin Find A Grave Memorial# 132441777

Her parents are Georg Carl Freitag b. 23 Jan or Feb 1922, Hameln Hanover, Germany, d. 2 Jan or April 1975 in the same place. m/ 20 Oct 1853 Bemerkungen, Germany, Dorothea Wihelmina Frevert b. 22 May 1829, Lasbruch, Detmold, Lippe Germany; bp. 28 May 1829; d. 29 Sep 1920, Vancouver, Clark, Washington United States; buried Cameron Cemetery
Nez Perce County
Idaho, USA
Find A Grave Memorial# 59164629

Dorothea Wilhelmina came to the US in 1875 with three of her five children shortly after her husband Georg Carl died, leaving behind a 6th child, a son Frederick who died in 1864 at the age of 16 weeks.

Of the remaining two children, Carl Heinrich Adolph Freitag immigrated in 1876 after he finished his military obligation and my g grandmother Louise Wilhelmina Dorothea Freitag immigrated to New York City in 1874. This is the daughter that married Frederick Julius Augustin.

Would you like to have pictures of her? She was my g grandmother and I have quite a few.

You might want to enter her full name on Find A Grave Memorial# 132441777. Also, I just noted that there is a comment on this page that says that she is sister to her husband Julius's first wife when in fact she is a first cousin. Her father, Georg Carl Freitag, was brother to William G Freitag, father to Johanna Freitag b. 1854 New York City. Their parents were Freidrick Adolf Freitag d. by 1853 and Caroline Luise Wilhelmina Diekmann b. 1 July 1796 Hameln, Weser, Germany, d. April 1875

Speaking of pictures, I was quite amazed at the pictures you found for the Augustins, Taliaferros and Freitags . Excellent job. The Augustin and Taliaferro sides of the family are very small, really small (like one person per generation) and I thought that I had all the photos as I am the only one that had any interest in them. The Freitag side of the family has numerous branches, mostly in Idaho, so there are a lot more photos from that side. Where in the world did you find the photographs you used? Is there any possibility that you have a relationship to this family or are you just a super good researcher?

I have been doing genealogical research for a long time and for the last three years have been concentrating on finding the German ancestors of the Augustin and Freitag families. I have them back about three generations in Germany and I am gradually entering the information into FamilyTree on FamilySearch if you are interested in additional information.

Thanks so much for all your work.

Sincerely,

Lou Daly

Sinclair L Raynor - Woodland Cemetery
Your picture that you posted to the Sinclair L Raynor Cenotaph in the Woodland Cemetery in Bellport, I would appreciate it if you could please upload it to his memorial in the Greenfield Cemetery, where he is really buried, Find A Grave Memorial# 138666261. Also, please copy your caption that you have on that pic of his Coal and Wood business. Thank you so much for the picture, it's beautiful. ~Bill

Also, the person who wrote you that is selling photos of ancestors I read on your bio, I am shocked. I would never do that. Our ancestors want to be remembered not sold. If I find a photo that may belong to a family, I just let them know. :) Diane
