This is a fun and interesting hobby for me, as well as a great way to perform a meaningful community service to others. Someday I hope to have more free time to devote to it. |
In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. I will make exceptions if I am doing photo requests for you. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please do not ask me to do links to any "Burial Unknown". Do your homework, first. FIND A GRAVE ADMINISTRATORS SUPPORT THIS POLICY. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos.
Since March 2013 I have taken over management of memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.

Thank you for adding the information. The Lockwood's were an interesting & talented family.

You are most welcome.
That swap was probably a good move. When you are the biggest software supplier, you are also the biggest target.
|GreenHills Stones Calling||RE: Dolores E. Martinez|
Thanks for the note.
I've noticed on Green Hill's website that when only the "death date" is listed, it is actually the interment date.
However, when both birth & death dates are listed, then the "death date" is actually the death date.
|Vanessa Price Harris||RE: Ramie Anderson|
You are most welcome and thank you!
Ramie was the sister to my husband and I am trying to tie them all together. There were 15 children with only two living.
Hopefully, I will soon be able to attach Ramie to her mother.
Thank you for all you do.
I wanted to thank you for taking the time to travel to Inglewood Park Cemetery and take photos of a couple of gravestones for me. It is much appreciated.
Regards, Bill Weidert

Thank you very very much...You are very kind sir...
|Elaine||RE: (157143686) Semerida|
That's true-the funeral home would have records if any of the children were buried there even if there are no headstones. However, it is doubtful they are buried there since they died between 1889 and 1910. It doesn't look like Herbert and Semerida moved to California until after 1920. (They are in New Mexico on the 1910 census and in St. Louis, MO on the 1920 census.) I am thinking they are probably buried in Missouri or New Mexico. Probably not worth your time but thanks for the offer! Elaine

First of all BJ thank you for your time and good work. I see your point and I have deleted the photo which I posted on there I transferred the memorial to Inis' granddaughter, and obviously she was confused about the nature of posting pictures LOL once again thank you for your time and good work!

Thanks so much. I will refer the Norwegians to the Cemetery.
|GreenHills Stones Calling||question help please|
I just received an email from Norway. They wish to arrange to purchase & have a marker placed on the unmarked grave of a relative laid to rest at Green Hills. Specifically, they wish me to suggest who to contact. What do you think? Should I suggest that they contact Green Hills Memorial Park or Green Hills Mortuary?
Your opinion would be appreciated,
