Well anyway I live in Boaz Alabama and I have been married to a wonderful man for 29 years and have 3 great children.

Hi Wanda,

I am a great great great grandfather of Andrew J. Ware. His grandson, Willie Ware, was my grandfather. I noticed from the find a grave that you are also related to Andrew J. Ware. You said that you know some stories about him. Would you mind sharing those with me? I'd really appreciate it. I enjoy doing some genealogy research when I have the chance and that kind of information is very hard to find. Thank you!

Sarah Lela Hilderbrand Walker Memorial
Hi Wanda,

I am not directly related to Sarah but am a descendant of the Van Buren Lafayette Hilderbrands buried in the County Line Cemetery. I am confused about the last name of Walker for Lela - my records showed Sara "Lela" Hilderbrand died as a "Miller" and that she was the widow of David Wesly Miller
1872 1853. Is there a headstone for her? Thanks!! Tina Patterson Burton

re: Brock Family
Hi Rita
I was trying to do a little research for my Mom and saw your posts on this website.
My grandmother is Letha Brock daughter of Levi and Octavia. My mom is Dorothy (Dorthea on her birth certificate) Pilkington Pirtle.
Do you have additional information on either Levi's or Octavia's parents.

RE: Brock family
Yes all the Brocks listed for Mount Olive Cemetery in Trussville, Alabama are related either by birth or by marriage.
My Great Grandparents are Levi Jackson & Octavia Hathcock Brock.

Shirley Burks Wells
Hi from a Wells family member...
Hi Wanda,

I am the widow of Louis Wells, son of Melvin and Janie Wells. Melvin was a brother of Uncle Herbert Wells.

Thank you for the info on Aunt Lillie! I added it.

I am helping Louis' granddaughter with her genealogy. Any help will be greatly appreciated! She lives in Cleveland, Tenn. I have the Wells line back to Burris Wells. I think his parents were Jefferson and Nancy Wells. Do you know anyone else working on this line? I am also helping her with the Jones line. Melvin married Janie Ann Jones, daughter of Riley Jones.

Please add me as a friend!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Brock Family
Hi Wanda,

I noticed your post on Find-A-Grave website. I am working on the family tree for a girl I work with at Hanceville Nursing & Rehab. I have Brock grandparents and the girl I'm working with has "Brock" grandparents too. We both have Brocks buried at Good Hope Cemetery here in Cullman Co. I don't know if we are related yet or not, which is why I'm emailing you.
Can you give me any info on Marietta Mize and James William Brock? I see you have their headstone picture on Find-A-Grave. I had taken a picture of it at one time and I'm glad to have finally figured out which Brock it belonged to. ;-)

I hope you understood this email - lol. Hope to hear from ya soon!

RE: Hildebrand
No Problem Wanda,
Thanks for replying...It is thought that the Hildebrand buried here is the son of my Jacob York Hildebrand Sr. I believe this is what another cousin of mine told me and all the Hildebrands buried there are of the same families. I will just have to see if I can find the letters, to refresh my memory.
Thanks for answering.

I noticed your memorials for Jacob York Hildebrand.
I am a granddaughter descendant of Jacob York Hildebrand who married Mary Huey. He was supposed to have died in a fight in Paint Rock/Tn/Al..??? Are you familiar with this Jacob York?
