Retired banker living in Bristol, Tennessee.|
It was through Find A Grave that I located my paternal Great-Grandparents and GG-Grandparents grave sites in Texas in early 2010. That led me to entering Memorials for our local cemeteries in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Not for the "count" but to assist others in finding the graves of their relatives and ancestors.
Ancestry should be freely shared with others. If I have created a Memorial for one of your relatives or ancestors, even "several times removed", unless they are also related to me I will be happy to transfer the Memorial to you. Please use the "edit" button and include your Contributor number.
My photos of gravestones may be used for your personal use and family trees like Ancestry.com and MyHeritage, etc. but not used for commercial purposes.

I must tell you...this never gets less awkward or less uncomfortable, your memorial #93990204 is a duplicate of #41140059. I like your memorial much more than I do Gary's, who is a transcription copier. He rarely ever visits a cemetery, he likes to create memorials without info, links, place of birth, place of death, obituaries and the like. Some folks just copy the dates and the names and move on. There is so much more to reflect on within the lives of those that lived before us. They all have a story to tell, but some folks are only here for their tally. This is a prickly dilemma we have here, since Gary's memorial is older than yours, Find A Grave will either delete yours, or merge your memorial into his memorial. Neither one of these options is not acceptable to me, for I am rooting for your memorial. We cannot just do nothing either, cause the next person that sees this will likely report it as a duplicate. You could try and get Gary to transfer his to you, but he rarely responds to a message at all, much less in a prompt manner. Do you have any friends that are administrators? Let me hear your thoughts on this.

Are you a descendent from the Humphreys' family? If so, I would like to swape information with you. My mother's maiden name was Humphreys. Thank you so much for the information you have put on Find A Grave.

Thank you so much for adding these memorials! I'm asking if you would be so kind as to transfer ownership of these memorials over to me and my family? 54604124, 54604094, and 54604196
I was just going back and reading through my notes. You asked if/how we are related to Claywells. In addition to my hubby and the Templeton/Claywell/Crittenden thing, my grandmother was a "Richardson" and my husband's grandmother was a "James."Heck, I am probably related to my husband too! And a good day it is in Michigan and I hope for you as well!

Sue, My husband is related through his maternal side, The Templeton/Claywell/Crittenden clans. I am probably as well ..six degrees of separation and all that! Thank you for your many contributions to Find A Grave. You make it more "REAL" for all of us! Diane Addington Matherly

thank you for the transfer.

I was wondering where the information on his wife and home listed on this memorial came from? I am looking for my great great grandfather and his name is Joseph H Elliott. His wife was Mattie and he was a conductor. They married in Tennessee but lived in Virginia for most of their lives. Are there any more Elliotts buried around him? Is there a picture of his gravestone? Do you know if there is an office I can contact to see if there is more information on him so I can determine whether this is who I am looking for? Thank you in advance for your time!
