|Bio and Links|
Every death has a life behind it, a story, a history. Somehow, visiting a grave, while not telling a story, produces a feeling. You can feel history. Seeing the grave, the actual resting place of the dead, makes the life real and not just a story.|
Links, Corrections and additional information
Please use the edit tab and I will be happy to make corrections, add links and additional information. Do not leave information you want added on this page.
Note: Abstracted lists (such as census, death index, etc.) should be formulated into complete sentences prior to submitting for addition to the bio.
This is Find-a-Grave, we find graves, so please, if the memorial doesn't have a grave photo, request one prior to asking for a transfer.
I'm pretty liberal when it comes to transfers, however too many times I have transfered and nothing is added or changed. So if you want a transfer, please:
1. Post any family photos (if you have them)
2. Provide me with family links and biographical information you wish to add to the memorial.
3. Tell me your exact relationship, not just they are "family" or "kin" or this is your "ancestor".
I will not make a transfer if you create excessive memorials with unknown burial locations.
Please be a Find a Grave contributor, not just a collector of someone else's work
Thank you to everyone who leaves tokens and flowers on the memorials I manage. However, please be respectful.
1. Do not add biographical information along with your token. Send me the info and I will be happy to add it under the bio area.
2. Do not leave Confederate Flag tokens on my Union soldier memorials.
3. Do not leave flowers on my newly created memorials that say "Everyone should have at least one flower!" Please stop! You haven't even given a family member a chance to leave a token and the message isn't nice.
✔ PLEASE NOTE!!! Do not move your Burial Unknown into the correct cemetery based on the information you found from my memorial & then demand that I delete my duplicate.

There are two photos of his headstone on the site, one being yours. The headstone also lists Sylvia but there is a line above her name and below his death date I can't make out. It looks like either August or Daughter but I'm not sure. Can you please clarify. Thank you. Also, I'm very thankful to whomever listed his birthplace on the headstone, be it family member or friend. I already knew it but for other family members trying to find him it's soooo AWESOME!! whoo hoo!
|Ron Tyler||Re: Ted Tyler|
dad was never buried out at Dearborn Memorial Park in Poway, California.
At the time our Mother passed away in Sept. 1991, we all lived in Poway California and the surrounding area. My Mom and Dad had picked the cemetary and the plot before she passed. After her death, Dad (Ted) was widowed and remarried in 1994. He later moved back to Pocatello Idaho and that is where he lived when he died. His second wife (Sharon) who we dearly loved, died in San Diego in 2006. She was buried in San Diego near where she taught kindergarten children for twenty five plus years. I think that Dad wanted to have her buried in Pocatello, but her family lived in San Diego, so the decision was made to bury her there.
Thanks again for your help.
|Ron Tyler||RE: Ted Tyler's Death Date|
Natalie has the reputation of changing data, dates...
Several years ago, she changed the information on my mothers birthday and some other information, and went to the Mormon Temple and had my parents married by proxy. My parents were married in Idaho Falls Dec. 3, 1953. Why Natalie did this is anyone's guess, but she did it for a self serving purpose. I found out about what she did through ancestry.com. I have since corrected the information, but it is really frustrating.
Since I have been on this site, I have found that Natalie has taken over several members of my family including several of my ,cousins that she has never met nor does she know anything about. Cousins, aunts, uncles and now my grandparents.
Natalies mother hates members of my family and never wanted anything to do with them, although my family invite her and our children into our family with open arms. Natalie has taken on that persona as well, and it reflects negatively on our family.
I don't want that negativity to rear it's ugly head into these genealogy records as it is already hard to find accurate records, and I don't want that to get worse with my family's records. I am deeply concerned.
Thanks for your help. I appreciate it. I will take over my family's records on this site if that is what it takes.
I hate involving you in this mess, but I want that death date changed on my Dad's records even though his headstone has the correct date.
Thanks for all you do.

|Ron Tyler||Ted Tyler's Death Date|
My name is Ron Tyler. I am the first born son of Ted Lawrence and Margaret Rogers Tyler
I changed the death year of dad to 2011. It was listed here as 2001.
I also added photos of my mom and dad as well as dad's 2nd wife Sharon.
Thanks for all you do. I so appreciate it as I am sure my family will.
My daughter Natalie Larsen and I are estranged. If she is the one who listed the death date/year, It was wrong and I request the change to be made.

Thank you so much for the transfer! And the updates.
|John Alexander||RE: Whitenack|
Concur with you about an incorrect date of death.
The family record that I have says he died 6-20-1984.

Thank you so much for looking up the obituary and making the transfer! (I've requested transfer of his brother too, but have not heard back yet. I will follow up on trying to fix the first name.) Regards, Charlie

|Earle Soukup||Memory Garden|
A few more of your memorials in Memory Garden were located. While photographing one site, I make note of neighboring sites to ascertain whether there are memorials lacking photographs.
Do you have a master list of sites lacking photographs in Memory Garden? Possibly I could work through the list. I'm not intersted in creating memorials.
Please contact me through my regular e-mail address.

This person's name was Peter Segalla or Pietro Segalla (italian name). He was my grandma's brother and emigrated to US. Lived several places and last know place was San Diego, CA. We looked but could not find anything else until now.
