Well you know my name, here's my story. My family lines run throughout Summers, Greenbrier, Monroe, and Lincoln counties in West Virginia and Sampson and Cumberland counties in North Carolina.|
I'm twenty two years old and I began getting into family history around 2009. Little did I know what I would get into and how much information I would find. I love cemeteries and finding out family history that nobody really knew before.
I began with tracing the Wykle family line which then tied into the Erskine and Morgan sides. I have recently followed the Browning line, the Taylor and Spell lines, and the Harvey and Ellison lines. I also work on a few lines for my friends.
Family names: Wykle (Various spellings), Erskine, Kessinger, Morgan. // Browning, Meade, Estep. // Taylor, Spell, Blue. // Harvey, Ellison.
I did maintain and add just family memorials but then I started branching out and covering complete cemeteries in Summers County. Also through genealogy, I have made a lot of great connections.
If I have up a picture and you want it removed, let me know and I will gladly remove it. Also, if you have any photo requests in Summers County or surrounding areas, I will do my best to get it.

"We all grow up with the weight of history on us. Our ancestors dwell in the attics of our brains as they do in the spiraling chains of knowledge hidden in every cell of our bodies." - Shirley Abbott
"Everybody loves you when you're six foot in the ground. - John Lennon"
* 8/11/13 - Work is keeping me very busy lately so I haven't added many memorials in months. If you leave a message on my page, I'll get around to seeing it. If you have a change for me, my email comes to my phone and I'll update as soon as possible. Thanks.

We have corresponded before but I never got around to asking you to transfer Franks memorial to my care. Is this possible?

Thank you for taking a picture of the headstone of Zina and Ruby Basham, It is very much appreciated.
I created the memorial for Zina, someone else created one for Ruby.. you have the same photo on each memorial. Can you tell me for sure which cemetery the headstone is located in? Zina memorial # 8539775 and Ruby # 98714394 each person is listed in diff cemetery, I am hoping you can help me find out which is the correct cemetery.

You enter a picture saying that it was Rhoda Ann Elizabeth Cooper and Samuel A Pack that came from the 1984 Summers County, History Book. The picture was not them; but of Samuel Lee Pack and Sarah Ellen Vest Pack. The one in the history book with Samuel Lee Pack's history was a picture of Rhoda Elizabeth Ann Cooper Pack and her children. All on same page of 262.
My 2 times Great Grand-father Samuel A Pack died at the age of 47 in 12 Jul 1893.
|Marietta Holliday||RE: Wrong graveyard|
I wasn't saying you didn't know where your grandparents were buried, I wasn't being a smartass I just wanted you to know that it was listed wrong and that someone else had listed them in the right graveyard but they hadn't done it right like you did being as how you were family. And now Roscoe, Stella and Virgil are listed in there twice.
They spelled Virgil's name Virgle. I was just trying to help!!!!!!!! And even though they're your grandparents they are family to me, as well as you. Lol
