You need to look at the death certificate -- Really??

As a 15 year old, her marriage record says her surname is Holt. Both her obituary and her Death Certificate say her fathers surname was Holt. I see nothing that says that her surname was Friend which is what you submitted as a suggested edit.

Henry Goodnight, Jr. #137260080
Very good work on Henry Goodnight's memorial. He was my 5TH Great Grandfather. I'd knowh he died soon after the Civil War and had seen the lien against his estate. Had him on a very long list to place in Shady Grove as well; glad to see someone got to it. I've connected him to his son, David, in Colorado through your memorial.

Ted, thanks for the reminder to add Susan's information and link her to the parents. Her mother Mary P Dame and my grx2 grandfather Pleasant C. Dame were siblings. I haven't done much work on my family tree this past year and I really appreciate your note.

More on Joseph Johns 1837
Hi Ted, Its Dale again

I forgot to mention something. While I was looking for
Joseph Johns 1837 I reviewed the Johns document you sent
me a few years ago and found the following info

Joseph Johns m. Charlotter Neighbors 16 Apr Greene County Mo.

I went to double check that in the Ancestry Card Catalog and found

Joseph Masters m. Charlotter Neighbors 16 Apr 1858 Greene County Mo.

in the Missouri marriages.

I did find Joseph Johns m. Rebecca Bradford 30 Nov 1865
but it was in an odd place (for the Johns) Andrew County, Mo.

Have you changed/updated any of your info on Joseph Johns 1837?

Thanks

-- Dale

Joseph Johns 1837
Hi Ted -- we exchanged emails a few years about about
Abigail Zorne, John Patrick and Joseph Johns 1804.

Another John's researcher has asked me about Joseph
Johns 1837 and have not really been able to find anything
new so I thought I would give your name to her. However
I wanted to check with you first to see if it was ok
with you.

Thanks

Joseph David Babb
I'm confused about Joseph David Babb - he first married Rhoda Ellen Keith - and later married Ella Massey - but I see no evidence of dissolution of his marriage from Rhoda Ellen Keith - and the 1940 census shows her as a widow - a time when he was married to Ella Massey......what am I missing?

Three Rivers Cemetery in OKLA
In case you were wondering, the source on those "edits" I have entered via the tab system (mainly plot numbers) -- is the book "Our People And Where They Rest: A Visit to 104 Old Cemeteries in Eastern Oklahoma," James W. Tyner, Maxine Tyner and Alice Tyner Timmons, American Indian Institute, University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. 1970-1985, (Library of Congress No. QE99-C5-T97) There wasn't a place for me to put that in the edit form.

Thanks for all your help! Best wishes.
