Helen DeLong
Sorry, but I have not researched her. Since her mother Emily died while Helen was an infant it seems plausible that her sister would take over her care. Wonder what happened to the other two children which were still very young. I believe I found Emily's husband Frances E. DeLong in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne Co., PA,(1920 census) age 42 a boarder, married (should be widower?), but with none of his family with him. I do know that son Milton W. was with his grandparents. If you find anything of importance, please let me know, so I can update her file.

Frances Emory DeLong's 1917-18 WWI draft card has him in Wilkes-Barre. Also with him was Arline DeLong at same address who might be a 2nd wife.

Thank you for responding and thank you in advance for doing the research.

There is a photo. If it's not uploaded yet, it should be soon.

Hi,
I am no relation to this family. I have been going through old newspaper obits-before 1921 and Pa Death certificates to verify 2 sources and add the burials to help others. I will look at the 2 Willoughbys' you added and do the links. Was there a picture of Williams' grave?
Thanks,
Louise

RE: Sybella Susan Seckel Clay
Antique Shop. Just for fun, when I go into the shops, I look for old photographs that have a name on them and the city and/or the state where the photographer took the pictures. I visited Washington D.C. a couple of years ago and found them. From there I go looking at ancestory.com or find a grave to find their family. Sometimes I connect up with the family and send the pictures to them, hopefully getting reimbursed for the cost of the pictures. I also have 600+ yearbooks from around the country from 1895 to 1940 with pictures. I like the smaller and older ones cause they usually have more about the person that I can add to their profile. Hi Louise,

I think it looks great!!! And old enough there's no copyright issue. Are you a relative? I'm not, although a distant cousin fits in there somewhere. I'd be happy to transfer him and any others you're interested in. Alice

No, I don't know them either. I just love to collect old photos and these family members were all in the same bin.

Sybella Susan Seckel Clay
I added a picture of her. I also have a picture of Edward Priestery that was taken in Philadelphia approx. 1881. The photo inscription for Edward says "Born 1861 about 20 yrs old". I am assuming that he was 20 at the time the photo was taken. I have a picture of John Seckel from the same photographer as Sybella's picture, so I am assuming it is her father. I am going to upload that to his grave. You can contact me if needed. Meredith@mbaileycpa.com.
