I have been using Family Tree Maker DAILY for several years and I have 135,000 plus names in my family tree. I am grateful for having discovered the findagrave.com site and am busy adding names from my FTM to the site. I live in Valliant, Oklahoma and am a first generation Boomer Sooner (Oklahoman). I am retired from teaching computers/Spanish to 475 K-5th grade students at Valliant. I love the Lord, my family, my pets and genealogy in that order.|
I am also a gospel singer having made two CDs - one in Nashville and one local and I travel to cowboy churches and any church to sing for the Lord.
I am kin to Bill Woods, "Godfather of the Bakersfield Sound" (also known as Father of the Bakersfield Sound)through my uncle Jess Woods and I believe that Bill should be in the famous section but findagrave admins disagree and he's in the "somewhat famous" section.
Find A Grave Memorial# 21018697 belongs to Bill. Here is a tribute on youtube from Merle to Bill: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xC4UgTIHejo&feature=youtu.be

I don't know any families in the Wasco area. We were only in that area briefly & took photos of tombstones to enter on Find A Grave.

Do you know who I can ask to take a picture of a headstone at the Broken Bow Cemetery? I have asked on there for photo, but it seems like no one is out there, I wanted a picture of Mary Price "wife of J.B. Price" headstone. Hope you can help.
Thank you, Rex

I can't access Sandie's sites to add people to it. Sorry I can't help you with this.

I am in need of some phone numbers that might be in the local phone book. I have family in the Holly Creek Cemetery and can not find a phone number for the church.
I found the web site for the church but it hasn't been updated since 2012.
Also can you tell me where the court house is for Broken Bow and if there is a Library, Newspaper or Historical Society for that area. My Great Grandfather ended up there and we lost him around 1919. His daughter Jossie Morris McHargue is buried in the Holly Creek Cemetery. Do you happen to know of any McHargue family that might still live in that area? My mother was born right outside Broken Bow as was her siblings.
Thanks for any help...
Hello, I am looking for a contact in Broken Bow. Are you near there by chance?

Hi! I corrected the date of the service on the obit. I usually catch that sort of error but missed this one. No, I don't think you know me. I have just been creating these memorial pages on Findagrave to honor the memory/assist geneaologists. I'm sure some would never be publicly acknowledged if it wasn't for Findagrave.

I agree with you on all she did there in McCurtain County. She has helped me a lot with some of my family in the Broken Bow/Idabel/Hochatown area. Thank You for your response.

Do you know who is now managing Sandra Lambert's Find A Grave Account?
