Thank you so much for transferring this memorial. I still have more to do but I am temporarily at a stopping point.
It is possible that you have the 2 memorials for his 2 wives, (Elizabeth and Elvira A.). I will let you know if I am able to verify these. Elizabeth usually went by the French spelling of Elisabeth and I do not know if Elvira A. is the right Elvira because I do not know what the A. stands for.
Thanks for the flowers, I hope you like what I have done so far.
Merci encore.

 | RE: Norman Knight and Mary Knight Your welcome, may have to change the date on Norman if I can find a birth certificate, the passport application is the only official type document I have found, but have at least 5 different years of birth for him. Thanks Bill Knight | | | Carole Elizabeth Nurmi Cummings

 | RE: Edward Root Very good find, thank you for finding it!
I wish the obituary had referenced something about his birth year. At least we know he was at least 80 years old, which indicates that my assumption may be correct that he is part of this immediate Root family.Added by Brett on Feb 15, 2013 8:47 PM | | | Brett
 | RE: Edward Root Thank you for looking for the obituary.
I have no idea where Jane is buried -- assuming that I am even correct in my thinking.
I'm basing my assumption that the rest of that immediate Root family appears to be buried in the cemetery and surrounding area.. which leads me to believe that Edward is another child of the family. There is also a small chance that Edward is just a distant cousin and doesn't belong. I just think chances are in our favor that he also belongs to them.
As you see from the census record I provided you, obviously a few of the children died at a very young age, and therefore don't show up in the census.. which makes our task a little more challenging.Added by Brett on Feb 14, 2013 7:59 PM | | | | [View all messages...] |
