Joseph Tilford Farr
Hello, I was wondering if you knew who were Joseph's parents and/or grandparents? I am trying to track down a possible family link to him. Thank you.

David William Crews
Mr. Farr,

I noticed you added a photo of the David William Crews family to his memorial. David William Crews is my great-great-great grandfather. May I ask where you acquired the photo? Are you related to the Crews's? I have some photos which I think are of David and Ann Zora Crews and I was wondering if you could help me identify them, and also if you have any other photos you'd be willing to share. Thank you for your time.

Suggest A Correction (SAC)
Good morning . . . just wanted to let you know that I sent SACs today regarding the Smithwick pages you created . . . since there were already existing pages for these Smithwicks, your copies are considered duplicates, and will need to be deleted . . . I'm letting you know because I know they sometimes get routed into junk / spam folders . . . Merry Christmas!

Noah Smithwick
Dudley I added a wonderful photo of Noah Smithwick to his Memorial page, and thought you would want to know. The photo was in one of Noah's books, entitled "The Evolution of a State, or Recollections of Old Texas Days." It was an old black and white plate, and I colorized it.

Farr Family
My mothers father was James Farr, and I think he is the James Roger Farr buried in the Glendale Cemetery, Goliad, Tx, .

She was born in Ulvale, Tx, on my great grandparent ranch; John Henry Dewees and Mary J. Pendergrasss (they pretty much raised her) after they moved to Comfort,Tx, had house in town, and ranch land off Hwy I10 outside Comfort. Both of her grandparents, her, and her mother are buried in San Fernando Cem #3, San Antonio,Tx,

Her grandfather John H. Dewees was with Teddy Roosevelt and went up San Juan hill during the Spanish conflict in Cuba, I have his original rifle he carried. He joined and trained in San Antonio at The Hot Wells , which was a sulphur spring resort in San Antonio, and Teddy stayed there. I have been there as a child, it fell to disrepair, gone now.

My mother's mother was Violet Dewees, and she was married to James Farr (he went by Jimmie), but they divorced when my mother was very little, she felt lost from him all her life. He remarried, and at one time lived in Corpus Christi, Tx, but think he was originally from Goliad, and my mother told me he died right after I was born, so I think the one I found, he died in 1957 is him, I was born in 1954.

Also noticed your fathers sister , Opal Farr, married a Page, and is buried in Blanco. My fathers mother was a Page, she is buried in Blanco by my grandfather Floyd B. Cox. Most likely related to the Page your aunt married, since they all lived in Blanco, and Center Point area, my grandmothers Parents were: Seth E. Page and Annie Buzarah/Evans/ Page are both buried in Center Point, his dad in Kerrville Cem.

I would certainly like to know if you have other links to my Farr family, it is my weakest link.
