I have often been told that I am a rather odd sort for enjoying spending time at cemeteries. I enjoy doing this because I am interested in preserving our past and I believe cemeteries are definitely a starting place.
At this time, I would also like to express that my involvement with Find A Grave is NEVER to upset anyone. It is purely to be able to provide a place for us to honor those we love and provide information for those who are trying to find their family, friends and loved ones. If I have entered someone you wish not be part of Find A Grave, I will gladly remove them as soon as I get a chance.
I do manage a number of memorials on this website and I have no problem transferring those individuals to family or friends who will do a better job providing the loving care they deserve. I look at Find A Graves "guidelines" as suggestions, not the all end of all rules and the world is going to end if we do not follow them.
On that note, I would also like to let everyone know that I work a full-time job and Find A Gave is a hobby for me. I am trying to do my best to keep up with all of the emails and information sent to me. Unfortunatly, I am not doing a very good job. If you have sent a request or information to me in the past and I have not responded to you, I kindly ask you send the request to me again.
I hope I have not offended anyone and everyone realizes I enjoy participating in this forum to honor our families, friends, and our past.
Dannar or Danner Any info on Dannar or Danner in Pecan Gap, or other NE Texas counties would be awesome. And I'm sure that is such a wide net! Researching on Isabelle Dannar Smith. Located her, but can't confirm parents or other Dannar (Danner) relatives. Also, don't know if there was a spelling change from ar to er.
Carl & Atha (Wilson) Latta Please change the date of marriage for Atha Wilson (Find A Grave memorial 20572953) and Carl Harper Latta (Find A Grave Memorial# 20572965).
See following source: "Arkansas Marriages, 1837-1944," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FQY4-162 : accessed 25 March 2016), Carl Latta and Atha Wilson, 21 Dec 1904; citing Pulaski Co., Arkansas; FHL microfilm 495,026.
Just a brief note to thank you for taking and posting a photo of James Archie Bush's gravestone. I would also like to thank you for your dedication and time spent providing photos for so very many of us here at Find A Grave. Without contributors like you, many of us would never be able to find our loved ones and ancestors final resting place.
