I have been doing family history for many years.|
I got an early start as my mother would take our older relatives to Homecomings and I tagged along. I loved the cemeteries and the stories of the folks resting there.
My Jones family immigrated to the Mass/CT area in the 1630s, moved on to NY, and then came south to LA and MS in the mid 1800s. My husband's family is mostly located in TN and AL.
If you find errors on any of my entries, I will be happy to make changes. If we are related, drop me an email.

The correct memorial should be 100181585. Find A Grave says to use what is on the marker, but it is crazy her obit has it spelled McFarlin.
Thank you so much for catching this. Just so you realize, this is a cemetery for black people.
I added a photo to his memorial page. The stone is in terrible condition but I am very certain that it is his based on a cemetery plot map.
I briefly considered trying to resurrect and assemble some of the pieces but I chose not to do so.

You are so welcome for the transfer. Maybe you could get a photo of him to add. I do not know why I did not have a picture of his grave. I will look for his marker the next time I go. I thought I did all who did not have one. I could have just missed it, I fell the last time that I went. May God blless you and yours , Kathy

If you check the complete listing for the cemetery, you will find I photographed all the stones in the cemetery and added some that were not included in the listing. Glad to have been of help to you.

I have added "She was the daughter of Elizabeth "Bessie" O. Nesmith 1784-1865 and Benjamin Graves 1792-1870." Do you know where Bessie & Ben are buried?

You are welcome. What is your relation to David W. Pipes ? Do you have any pictures of him during the War Between the States or know of a relative who does ? Thank you for your reply.
