McCarty I was doing photo requests for McCarty family in Ogden City Cemetery, Utah. By coincidence, 'Honoring William McCarty' came up on my screen. Had to check it out. Any relation to the Utah McCarty's? Looks like some early settlers were from New York.

Rebecca McCarty Probably just a coincidence with no connection, but my grandfather Ralph Dawson married a Marie Maples in Macon County, Mo. who on the marriage license is under 21 and lists a guardian named Rebecca McCarty as giving assent to the marriage.
May be just a coincidence but it is interesting that my step-grandmother's name was given as Maples with a guardian Rebecca McCarty when your Rebecca McCarty was married to a Maples.
