I like visiting cemeteries and taking photos - they may not always be the BEST photos, but I try for legible. |
I really don't have time to do links, if you are related at all, please just ask for a transfer - I really do want all the memorials I've created to be with family.
I have a lot of photos that I just haven't gotten uploaded yet - but if I created a memorial, then I have a photo for it.
I'm not related to any of the Maine memorials I've created and I'm just a caretaker, I'll transfer to any family members. I don't know anything beyond what is on the stones.
I give permission for the use of my photographs for any reason, but would like credit. "Photo courtesy of Brenda Ball" will suffice. I do have larger copies of all photos, if that's helpful.
If I fulfill a photo request for you, or transfer a memorial out of guidelines, I expect a 'thank you'. Hopefully, in 'real life' when someone does something nice for you, you take the time to thank them. Online life is the same way, if you don't bother, then *I* won't bother.
(all memorials entered, photos of all)

Oak Hill in Auburn - Have taken photos of all the legible stones I can find. Have not uploaded all the photos or created all the memorials yet.
Lane - Poland - Have photos of all the stones here
Highland - Poland - Have photos of all the stones here (and it's the prettiest cemetery I've ever seen.)
Maple Grove in M'Falls - visited and started taking photos - it's HUGE - mowing the rows on this one, as I can. Already have a backlog of about 300 photos.

Thank you so much for the transfer of my grandparents at the Riverside Cemetery in West Minot, Maine.

Delighted to find your pages for these relatives and to read that you're mowing the rows. I have a lot of people out there to be found, and wish you well in your endeavors. It really helps!! :)
I am currently working on Sampson Foss who is correct on your pages, and your help has been invaluable.
"The Sams" are my fourth and third uncles, respectively, and you have a number of memorials for their family at White Oak Hill Cemeteries. I also see that you're generous with transfers. The only reason I ask is because these guys are descended from Levi, and the misinformation out there is going to require a lot of editing.
If they're not closer kin to you, I'd appreciate a transfer. Would you prefer a list or individual edit requests?
Thanks so much! Will work on Levi (Samuel's dad) eventually, but this takes some work, so I'm trying to simplify things as much as possible for everyone.
Great photos, great details, great asset to Findagrave. Thank you! :)
I would like to thank for your time in taking an posting the 3 Hanscom gravestones I requested.
Thank you so much,

Anything you can find for me regarding Edward and Clara (Stetson) Butler would be sincerely appreciated. I'm trying to build a family tree for my husband's cousin (related on his mother's side), and Clara Butler was her first cousin three times removed.
Waiting until the snow clears is probably a good idea ;). Graving at this time of year can be brutal for hands, feet, and noses!
Thank you for your efforts.

What a wonderful surprise I received this morning when I opened my email to find the wonderful photos of my family's gravestones this morning!!! This was something I had wanted to see all of my life! Charles Perkins, was my grandfather, and even when my Mom died at age 91, she had never seen her Dad's grave. I always wanted to take her but since I live in Northern Maine, (Millinocket), I just never was able to fulfill her wish. I can't begin to tell you how very much this means to me and my family! What a generous volunteer effort this is! I am so thankful and grateful for your very compassionate deed. I have been doing Ancestry.com for about 3 years and have also become a volunteer for "Find a Grave", and have taken a few photos. I truly didn't understand how much this means to an individual until I received these. Again, many thanks for doing this for me!!

Thank you for your photos. I do have a question about one, for Grace Packard, wife of Fred Packard, buried at Riverside Cemetery in West Minot.
Does the larger photo give a clearer definition of her age when she died?
