I tried to lift the marker, but it was just too heavy. And now the weather has turned nasty. If you remind me in the spring I can see if the cemetery workers would turn it over.

You're welcome--glad to help. You had 4 requests in but there were 12 on the plot. So all 12 have been added. Sorry I missed L.T. in the family plot--thought I had all in the viewfinder.

You are welcome. I know it is hard sometimes to get to the cemeteries when you aren't close by. Anytime.

I contacted both people who maintain the two memorials told them the problem and advised them to work it out. There are enough blanks to add nickname, given name, middle initial, maiden name and married name on the memorial.

This is a duplicate memorial. The Utah historical society probably use a death certificate for #110266 and #89563514 was establish from the headstone. I Added the photo you requested but wanted to alert you of the duplication
|B.J. Waters||RE: Shipley Family|
Fran, I responded to this a few days ago but my message got intercepted and was "under review". There must have been a combination of words that the site's "filter" didn't like. Basically, what I was trying to say was that Christos may not have been related to the Shipleys, but could have been a friend of the family, etc. The thing that was confusing to me was the order of their burials, with the most recent burials being in between the oldest ones.
Anyway, I hope you find out! Maybe census records might show him as someone in the Shipley household (just a thought!).
