|Robert Tyree, Sr||Will NOT TRANSFER|
I had to go to Find-A-Grave customer service to transfer my Father, 2 Grandparents and 2 G Grandparents as Mr. Staggs states that he WILL NOT transfer to the family.
Please refer to the FAQ section to see that it is customary for DIRECT family members within 4 generations be allowed to manage the memorial.
Mr. Staggs: Thank you for your service of remembrance of our ancestors. But I do not understand your refusal to transfer DIRECT family members.
|Andy||Sgt William Flavius Cost|
I am Andy Bryant (again). I have just found "the rest of the story" about Sgt. William F. Cost's [Find A Grave Memorial# 53058656] AND Malinda Elizabeth Potterfield's [Find A Grave Memorial# 53060721]DAUGHTER!!
I am so happy.... I've been searching for her for 10+ years.
Her name was originally listed at her birth in 1872 as: "Mary E Mast" I could not find ANY records of her after her father, William died in 1881.
FINALLY....... Her name was is recorded as
"Mammie E.(Ella) Cost (1872-1945)" [Find A Grave Memorial# 105956777]
She married a man named;
"John Scott Falls, Sr. (1858-1927)" [Find A Grave Memorial# 55579859]
I was wondering if you would please consider connecting your memorial sites of her father, Sgt. William Flavius Cost AND her mother, Malinda Elizabeth Potterfield with hers?
It would be wonderful to finally, after all of these many years, having their ONLY child together again!

I am leaving the same message for my grandmother that I left for my grandfather. I would appreciate if if you would add my mother to their list of children. Please respond to my request. I have 2 cousins and you added their mother, Erin Threet.

|Carol Hudson||John Franklin Threet|
Hi, I'm Carol Barber Hudson and John Franklin Threet is my grandfather, my mother's father. You can find her under Martha K "Marty" Threet on Find a Grave. Do you mind adding her to the list of children? She was born June 25, 1919 and died Feb 2,1976 in Atlanta Georgia and was buried in Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia. I don't need to have ownership transferred, but I would like for the record to be correct. Her oldest sister, Iona Mae Threet Barkley was married to Clyde Barkley and he owned Barkley Heating and Air (before that, Barkley Refrigeration) on E. Tennessee Street, directly across from the E. Tennessee Lumber Company (I believe the name of the street was E. Tennessee Street in Florence, Ala) and next door to Early Marks Barber shop. I spent 2 weeks with them every summer. I would appreciate your honoring my request.

|Billy Craig Jr.||Pictures of George Franklin Parker Family Found in Old Desk.|
Posted: 29 May 2016 12:54PM GMT
My wife was cleaning out an old desk at AEDC and found several pictures of George Franklin Parker and family. It looks like these pictures are at least as old as 1910/1911. I understand Frank Parker, Jr. moved to Franklin County and raised family here. I would like to return the photos to the family if anyone knows who to call.
