Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Dallas and raised in Arlington, Texas. We still live in Arlington. My Dad's folks are from Clarksville Texas (Raulston) and my Mom's folks are from Winnsboro, Texas (Cox and Boles). My Dad's Mom's folks are from Honey Grove, Texas (Yarbrough). I have become interested in all of the branches of the family tree because I keep sprouting grandchildren. At first, I wanted the info for their baby books. There are so many branches, though, that it fascinates me. Just think, someday, my own line will be huge enough to fill a book. It's not hard to believe that we're all kin to Adam, Eve, and Noah!! This is fun. My son calls it my "Gothic" stage. ha!

Vista Yarbrough Graves # 64074044
Haven't looked at my aunt Vista's memorial page for some time so just now saw the wonderful photo you posted of her. Thank you so very much!
Can you tell me who the other lady in the photo is? or where it was taken?
Regards, Sharon

RE: Thanks!
You are most welcome.
I know how valuable old pictures are to family and how they come to life a little better without all the damage that can sometimes happen.
Thanks for all your work adding so many tribute pages!

Sadie Bledsoe
I am working to find Sadie and the current list of photo request for Arlington Cemetery. I found a bledsoe plot with several Bledsoe's buried in it but no Sadie.

Can you add any information to help me find Sadie for you? I also met with the Cemetery people today, they are researching the list of names and I should here something by Monday or Tuesday. If they find no record I'll let you know right away if there is no record of Sadie, I should have a picture for you by the end of the week if they find a record for her.

Infant Norwood (89478962)
She was the infant daughter of my Uncle Robert W Norwood. I've edited the memorial to reflect the dates and the link to her father, I am still searching for a link to her mother. Thanks Dennis Norwood

RE: Charles Lindsey
I'm so glad you found my photos of Charles. I have ones of Paty Boles and Mattie Elizabeth Lindsey, too, and may have others of Charles and his wife Lucy, which I'll gladly share with you, if you'd like. If you would want to email me, my email is

I'm a descendant of Charles Henry Lindsey's brother Alexander Cobb Lindsey. I knew Uncle Charlie's son Mark Henry Lindsey, who married Elizabeth Mae Oakes, and after her death, Lovie Lorena James.

Lovie was the mother of my aunt Natille Pierce Lindsey. Natille married my father's brother Henry Carlton Lindsey. After Natille's father died, Lovie remarried to Mark Lindsey, and I used to visit them in Atlanta, TX. He was such a wonderful old gentleman with many interesting stories to tell about the older members of the Lindsey family.

Very happy to be in touch, and glad you liked the photos. Please feel free to email me. I'm William D. Lindsey, by the way.
