I live in South Lyon, Michigan and have three children and six grandchildren. I'm lucky enough to be married to my best friend for 44 years. My interest in family history began many years ago when my Dad inherited a Civil War diary written by his great grandfather. While raising my children I never had much time to devote to my interest but over the past few years I've really gotten into it. I stumbled across Find A Grave while doing family research and immediately wanted to be a part of it. |
Please let me know if any of my memorials need correction. If I've made a duplicate it was accidental and I'll gladly remove mine if you let me know. For corrections, to add additional information or to request a transfer please contact me via the Edit tab on the memorial.
If you would like to use my photos please ask first. I will almost always give permission as long as photo credit is given to the Find A Grave memorial.
Please note: Because some people are using Find A Grave as a family tree builder, I do NOT link to "Burial Unknowns".

Yep, it was I said the spider to the fly ;)
I've been meaning to trek out there to try to satisfy a couple of photo requests. Since none had ever been taken and it is a relatively small cemetery I decided to just photograph all the memorials. Working through the upload process now after editing the pictures yesterday. I thought the cemetery was in remarkably good shape for a small country cemetery down a dirt road. There are quite a few rather large monuments there. I expect there are a number of buried markers. I uncovered a few near the surface so I could snap them. I ran out of flash battery before completing the job so some of the markers will not show up as well as they could have.

Thank you so much Sharon. I will let you know. I am hoping to possibly go over to the cemetery soon and see if I can find it myself. If not, I will try the link and number you gave me. Thanks again. Janet

This is my brother's twin. He died in birth, so birth date is same as date of death.
He was buried while my Mom was still in the hospital recovering. My Mom has passed and I do not have a clue where the grave is. I do not know why there was never a gravestone put there. I would love to put a headstone. He was never named. Is there a lot number and do you know about where he is buried?

You're welcome :) If you're coming from the main gate, it's toward the back. It's the first grave to the right of the "Row 5" marker. I was afraid that it wouldn't be readable...there are many that were not.

Hey! I have more photos of the grave if you would like them...it would only let me put one up.

Thank you for making the change. I know the family will be pleased.
