Bio Photo Question...
how and why did Garrett Parker's stone
got "dumped" in a field in Las Cruces, NM
when his burial is in Bethlehem Cemetery,
Fayette County, Tennessee?

Garrett Parker # 66038225

His stone was found in a field near Las Cruces, NM.
It was brought to the Masonic Cemetery, thinking it
was stolen from his grave, but Garrett wasn't buried
there. The stone remained in the office for decades,
but with the help Find A Grave and a number of
volunteers, his burial site was found.
His stone now rests with him.

I live in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

My father's side of my family is from Henry Co., Tn.
My mother's family is from Stutman Co., North Dakota,
and from Preston, Minn.

You are welcomed to use my photo's that I have taken,
but please give me credit for the photograph.

If I have made a memorial of one of your relatives or friend,
I'd be very happy to transfer (unless they are also my relatives!), please just ask.

I'm slowly getting back to everything I put off for a couple of weeks. You are probably right about Sarah Brisendine Mathis being buried in Union Hall Cemetery. However, it would be nice if someone who has access to the book for that cemetery could look it up. Do you have any contacts that might be able to do the lookup?

Thank you for finding her father. Do you have any idea where her mother, Sarah Jane Brisendine, might be buried?

Thank you so much! I am trying to get all those families connected. They're Hungarian, so some used the Estenes name....but I think I can get them all located eventually. Appreciate the transfer!!

I no longer go to Valhalla. Your best bet is to call the cemetery office and they will look it up for you. Make sure you add the burial location on the memorial - there are still a few people that might go there. They have been having issues at that cemetery during the day with carjackings so I will no longer go there.

Good luck!
