I am retired and live in Lead, SD. I will take pictures of cemeteries/monuments in this area. I usually wait 'til the snow melts and the grass is green before resuming picture taking.

George Washington Glover II
Hello, I left you a previous public message but I put the birth and death dates for GWGI not GWGII
His correct dates are 1844-1915
Sorry for the confusion. Cynthia Marty

George Washington Glover II
My Great Grandfather George Washington Glover has an article from the newspaper taking up all the room for pictures to be added to Find A Grave. How do we get the article deleted and add a nice picture of him to this grave? I have a great one to add.
Thanks, Cynthia Marty

Have you given
up to ? Meaning have you given up on claiming photo requests as it seems that the old saying is true "you can please some but ya can't please 'em all ? "

Please don't give up as you have taken some of the best pictures I have seen, especially in the Lead area where some if not most of the stone's are a real stinker to get a really good picture of.

Meads in Lead
Hi George,

I am glad I found the right plot, even though there were no grave stones. Thanks for confirming. Where did you get a copy of the West Lead Cemetery? Cindy

Checked the cemetery records on file in the library and the plot number you have is correct. It also show the plot on the left and the right are correct numbers indicating Josiah and George are #4. I didn't see any indication of a gravestone either. It was either vandalized or destroyed or they never had one. At least you can see where they are buried. Cindy

Hi George, I have obtained a very good photo of the headstone and would like for you to remove just the close-up photo that you submitted. Please leave the distant photo that shows the background of the cemetery.
Thank you much.

Emma Steele
Hi George,
I was in the West Lead Cemetery recently to take some pictures for some of the photo requests plus others of interest. I took a picture of Emma Steele's grave and sad to report it is broken. I am going to try to add her photo so others can see what it looks like now. Cindy
