This is a fun and interesting hobby for me, as well as a great way to perform a meaningful community service to others. Someday I hope to have more free time to devote to it. Yes, I'm in it for the numbers! The more memorials that are on this site, the better chance of people finding relatives. That's what this is all about.|
In fairness to those who may have closer ties to a memorial, please read the Transfer Guidelines prior to requesting a transfer. I will make exceptions if I am personally doing work for you. You do not need to "manage" every memorial that is part of your family tree. Remember that this site is for locating burials, not building a tree. There are other websites that are more suitable for that purpose. I will be happy to make any links and corrections. PLEASE use the SAC feature ("Edit" tab). Please do not ask me to do links to any "Burial Unknown". Do your homework, first. Please feel free to add photos where appropriate, as you do not need to manage the memorial to add photos.
I will not cut and paste raw data from census records, death indices, etc. A nicely written bio is preferable.
Since March 2013 I have taken over management of memorials in Inglewood Park Cemetery from Chris Mills. Please continue to send suggestions for corrections using the "Edit" tab and I will get to them as soon as I can.

Thank you for trying
Thanks for adding the Summers family grave photos from Green Hills. I really appreciate your doing so. I like what you said about the numbers. More numbers is more people remembered! Thanks for all you do!

Thanks B.J. Just so you know, I wasn't trying to be pushy or question your reasoning. I was just curious about the policy given the "do your homework first" statement. Thank you for clarifying your reasoning. I do appreciate everything you're doing. Regards, Alan

Hi B.J. I appreciate your work for F.A.G.! I was wondering about "unknown interment" policies when a person has exhausted all known sources for finding an ancestor's burial location. I do look far and wide before using the his option. Is there any flexibility in your policy in this instance? It could help other people to know the relationships among memorials and perhaps find that missing information. Just a thought. Thanks again for all of your effort, Alan

Thank you so much for taking the time to capture this picture for me. You are truly appreciated. And thank you for all the work you do for Find-A-Grave. If not for people like you I would never be able to visit the grave sites of my relatives.

Thanks much for your help.
Thank you so much for photographing Anna's headstone and for posting for her husband as well. I know the weather hasn't been great so thanks for going out in not ideal conditions and for taking an excellent photo. This is for a friend who has not seen her grandparents final resting place. Thanks again. It is greatly appreciated.
