I LOVE Find A Grave. It has helped me locate so many of my relatives!|
I don't mind people copying my photos and adding them to their Ancestry.com family trees, but please at least acknowledge that it's been copied!! You could type in "Photo by Caryn at Findagrave". Thanks!
I will also gladly transfer memorials of relatives/friends to you.
If you send me updates and/or links, I will most likely transfer the memorial to you, unless you tell me you don't want to manage it.

I sent you two SAGs for transfer regarding the Ebenezer and Hannah (Fuller) Maxim memorials. On a different note, you erected and took photos for more than 60 memorials at this cemetery. Was this based on a list of every known gravestones at this cemetery, or only those that you were able to get to and photo, or some other reason? Thanks for your help.

I am transferring the Abiathor Hoxie memorial
back to you.
Further research is needed (vital records), to
clear up the contradicting information found
in the Shurtleff genealogy and Hoxie genealogy
books. I do no have access to the vital records
of Sandwich. But in the vitals book of Carver:
Chloe Shurtleff [and] Nath[aniel] Hawks of
Middleboro, [int. Middleboro], Apr. 4, 1799.
I don't know if Hoxie was once "Hawks" but it
seems to me that by 1799 the name would be one
way or the other. I think "Hawks" may be a
different name altogether, and perhaps Shurtleff
genealogy interpreted the name as Hoxie?
Personally I would go with the Hoxie book for
Sorry I could not help you out further.

Thank you for adding a photo that can be used on my family tree. I really appreciate it. I don't understand why people object to it. If it were not for family trees who would go to admire the photos.
I give credit to you and any one else who's photo I have added to my tree and just want to say thank you.

Hello Caryn, I noticed you added a photo in Wareham on 3-11-13. Find a grave has my volunteer photo list credited with your photo.(I should have 80 not 81) I emailed Find A Grave and they sent me back a note saying we all contribute to find a grave, and misunderstood what I was emailing about. Maybe you can have them fix it, unless you don't mind. Carol
