Genealogy has been a love of mine for 30+ years. I've only been doing Find a Grave for a short time now, but I've loved it! I'm having a blast finding my ancestors graves and linking them to their parents, spouses and children. I've noticed that it makes me feel more connected to them as I connect them together. I've even shed some tears when someone volunteers to photograph a headstone. One of them was an unmarked grave, but someone took the time to research it and take a picture of where it should be. It pulls at my heart strings. I love this website!|

We have had a very wet May and it is continuing. I will retake the photo when we can brush the dirt off. Right now it is just mud.

I put the photo on his sons pages for you. Sorry it is so blue!

Thank you for letting me know - however, my memorial was created over a year before the other one. Thanks.

Happy to be at your assistance Tammy. I always do my best taking photos of the surrounding area. I hope it is comforting to friends and family of the deceased to see the last resting place of their loved ones. Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery is one the most beautiful cemeteries I had ever seen.
All the best in your research.
