I am a fifth generation Californian and San Josean. On my mother's side I am the descendant of Mexican and Chilean miners who came to work in the New Almaden quicksilver mine outside of San Jose, CA. I do extensive research tracing the families of the early New Almaden miners.|
From my paternal Grandmother, I am a descendant of Anthony Gholson, who came to America with his brother from Wales in 1680. My branch of the Gholsons were early settlers of Texas.

Thank you so much for posting my ancestors information. It took me days to find his grave, as his marker is missing. I will add to his page more ancestors that I have found. He was my second great grandfather, who has a very colorful and interesting past. Carole

My intent was not to be rude to you I just thought I was being helpful as I saw a couple of errors on the find a grave. If we could talk in person this probably wouldn't not ha happened. I do appreciate all of your work and thank you. If you check my tree you will notice I have Louisa and Anna as sisters to my great grandmother Susan. Also Susan was born in 1841 and Anna in 1838, so she could not have been Susan's mother. I figure the news paper got it wrong and should have stated that Anna' sisters were Louisa and Susan. Sorry for rubbing you the wrong way. Did not mean to. Will write an email to you later. Joyce Bunney Welch

I am a great grandchild of William and Susan Bunney. You have some of the information wrong on the Find a Grave. Susan never was a Truscott. Her sister Anna was married to a John Truscott. Susan's name was Susan Sophia Rowe Thomas Bunney. William and Susan also had a seventh child Elizabeth Jane Bunney who was my grandmother.

Man, what a sad, sad story! By the way, in the bottom part of the biography (the second story down), it says JANE was killed by her husband, not LENA. Is that correct? Either way, damn, that's sad.
I walked that section for EONS trying to find the proper plot (it's a mishmash section and SUPER difficult to figure out). I took random photos of empty areas that I thought might be it, then a photo of the next stone over, so that I could look up the plots on the ones with the stone to narrow down where I thought Lena was. The stone to the end on the right is located at Section T, Row 16, Area 24, Grave 7 and 8, so I am fairly confident that this is the correct spot for her.
Whew! You had me walking all over holy hell on Sunday! lol

I want to know where you were able to find the locations of the graves without having to call the cemetery and pay $35 for EACH look-up! LOL There are so many photo requests there, most with no location, and I wish I could help these people. =/

I saw you have some photo requests over at that cemetery now as well, WITH plot locations. I am in Menlo Park for a couple of days, and if I can get rid of my migraine and it's not too hot tomorrow, I will wander up there to do those. I have not been to that cemetery before yet and I want to see! It's not so far from Menlo Park like Campbell is, you know? I'll let you know tomorrow what I do.

I can't believe you found some info on who should be buried there! Actually, well, maybe I CAN believe that - it IS Veronica we are talking about. LOL I added that info to the memorial and will check with the cemetery as to what plot he is buried in to absolutely identify him with, and also see if they have any idea who else is there (since we both know it must be a family plot). SO happy to have one of my "unknown first names" turn into a person!

|Ron Beffa||RE: Sarah Bonning|
I have a fair amount of Bernal info although none are directly related to me. I tried to track down data on all the children of Sarah Bonning when I worked on this stuff years ago. Just getting back into it again recently now that I am retired. Who is your lady and what info do you have and I can check my material and email you what info I have (if any). I did have the Sarah Bonning obit - I was hoping u had seen her actual gravesite. I'm hesitant to add the obits and burial info I have without really truly knowing someone is buried there.
