Bio Photo My profile pic is me literally in my mothers arms, 1965.

I live in The Denny Triangle in Seattle, WA, USA. I know it is important and vital to record accurately the historical aspects of a persons life, including their final resting place. This, my father inspired me to do as a kid, when he would take me with him to visit family graves. He would tidy them up, like,, actually cut the grass. I remember the cemetary where his father was sometimes was overgrown. I liked to clean up those graves with him and those memories are deeply a part of me. Even though I can not see the graves of anyone related to me here in Seattle, Washington, I can still participate in honoring and respecting their existence.

My X's are from NW Florida. Through FAG and I have been able to see the final resting places of many, many of my mom's side ancestors, going back to early 1800's. Americans of Scottish, Irish, Cherokee, Creek, English, French descent, migrating from New York and Carolinas to Georgia and Alabama, all eventually making their way to NW FL.

My Y's are from Roccabascerana, in the Province of Avellino, Campania, Italy, about 30 miles east of Naples. There is a large residence called "Case (House of) Ragucci" within Avellino. House of Ragucci. My grandparent's immigration states Roccabascerana as origin.

My Aunt, my mom's sister, who I never met, Margaret Ann Williamson, who died before I was born, but I feel a connection to her

Cinnamon Girl

Hey Mario -

Check out the new song by Bob Seger off his new album
"Ride Out". It's called "Hey Gypsy" and it's a tribute to "my
man" Stevie Ray Vaughan! Great Listening! :-)

Hugs, Cinnamon Girl

To sleep, perchance to dream
Yes, Mario today, the Winter Solstice is a pajama day. I'm sleeping most of it away and hoping to have some good dreams as well as feel better in time for Christmas. All the best to you!

RE: Hello Allison thinking of you
I was thinking of you yesterday. I'm still in sub acute rehab. It's 11 weeks now. I'm making strides. It's hard work, I'm in the gym between 3-4 hrs M-F. I need to walk and get my life back. Email me when you can and fill me in in what's been going on with you. It's Sunday. If all goes well, I'll be up for a big Sunday cook off. :) Merry Christmas!! Hugs, Allison

RE: Cropping and reducing
Mario, Thanks for the tips on creating tokens. I'm using PaintShopPro by Corel. I also use Paintbrush which came with Windows 7. I will try.

If the images still come up too small after uploading, I will simply remove the poem or quote and upload just the image. Then I'll add the poem or inspiration quote in the text box that accompanies the tokens we leave.

I'm looking forward to leaving some Christmas Lights for your Aunt Margaret and your parents.

Creating tokens
Mario, I have some lovely photos I've taken at the Dyker Heights Christmas Lights event. I want to turn them into tokens to leave at memorials. BUT mine always turn out to be too small. Your tokens are beautiful: just the right height, width and text is visible.

I'd appreciate if you can send me the instructions.

The tokens I'm creating are about 900-1200 pixels long. The script is 72 points. But everything gets reduced when I upload to FindAGrave. I cannot find instructions on the FAQ. I'd be saving as JPEG file.

Any guidelines appreciated. You can email or post at my Message Board.
