Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching my genealogy for many years and now have over 18,000 people in my database and in a private genealogy website.

I am a former Navy Nurse, civilian nurse, nurse educator, airline pilot and diving instructor. I am still a photographer & do some tutoring in addition to my genealogy work. I enjoy walking cemeteries and taking photos for you.

I have found thousands of relatives and ancestors who were murdered in the Holocaust. I am entering them, one by one, and so far have created over 2,300 of their memorials, nearly 1500 in Auschwitz alone! They are separated in my virtual cemeteries by camps, and I also created a virtual cemetery for the children. I would be honored if you would stop by to visit them when you are able. I ask only that you refrain from leaving Christian tokens or wording. Thank you so much.

Feel free to add photos to my memorials any time, as long as you have taken them yourself and have not copied them from obituaries. Thanks!!

I am happy to make additions, corrections and family links, and am always grateful for additional information you can send. Please send them using the EDIT feature on the memorial page. I will act on all additions, etc. within 24 hours, if possible.

I would so appreciate if you would stop by my beloved dad's and mom's memorials and leave a token so I know you've been there. My mom just got to heaven on Feb 6th. Thank you so much to those who have already visited them. I have also made virtual cemeteries for my 5 wonderful fur babies and 2 special cousins. They would love to see you too. I miss them all so much. Thank you.

I would like to thank every one of you for visiting my family members & friends. It truly means so very much to me to see all your tokens and notes. You are a very special group of people and I am so grateful to have met you.

Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

Julius Segal
I just had a photo request fulfilled for the Julius Segal who is buried in Bnai Israel Cemetery Oxon Hill. It turns out that it was a different Julius Segal. You can see the photo at memorial # 148311150

Randy Pate
Thank you so much for the picture of his headstone. If you do find someone that is connected to him, I will be glad to transfer it. Or if you want him since you have his parents, I will transfer him to you.

RE: Pate Family
No, I am not related to the Pate Family. Randy was a classmate and I am trying to get info on all of our deceased classmates and have them under my virtual cemetery for our 50th HS Reunion.

Thank you very much for the offer of transferring his parents to me. If you should find his relatives, I will be glad to transfer him to them.

Julius Segal
Hi Sue,

Thanks for the pointer. I chose the cemetery based on an entry in JOWBR. It was a tentative choice, since the entry did not include a date of death nor any names of relatives of the deceased. However, the cemetery's location in close proximity to Julius's (last) residence seemed to support my hypothesis.

RE: Jack and Esther Weinberg
That's quite a project! I'm working on the cemeteries in my rural area of Ohio. I've finished five cemeteries and am almost finished with a sixth. Of course, they're all smaller than King David!

Thanks again!

Jack and Esther Weinberg
Thanks so much for taking the marker photos for Jack and Esther Weinberg. They are my mother-in-law and my father-in-law. This is especially helpful because Jack spelled his formal first name two different ways during his life. It's good to know which spelling is on his marker.

Aurelia Nachman
Thank you so much for taking the photo of Aurelia's grave! She was my husband's aunt, and we didn't have her exact date of death, so this is useful to keep our family history complete.
