Haven't heard from her for some time. The number at the Copeland Oaks Retirement Community is 1-800-222-4640 or 1-330-938-6126.

Thanks for voting. I am not a relative, I am just interested in her story and that she gets the credit she desreves.

You recently left a flower for Mary Ellen Shutt and I wanted to say Thank You! I have tried to have Find a Grave recognize her as a famous person but they say that she does not meet their requirements.
I have resubmitted her for consideration again and I was hoping that you would re-visit her page and give her a fame rating. If enough people vote, maybe it will change the minds of the folks at Find a Grave.
Please click here Mary Ellen Shutt to take you directly to her page.

Hi Sue: Can you tell me if Mrs. Butler is still with us and living in Sebring? I'd like to write her if so. The last we communicated, she had no internet access to receive email. Do you know if she has now? Thanks, Dave in Ohio

Hi Sue. No I didn't. But he was right here in the city a short time back. Unfortunately, I was out of town at that time and missed him.

Can you tell me where to look online to find other animals like the black horse you have on your email? I am the one who did the bio on Velma Johnston. I live in Reno and am on an emergency winter feeding program for what is left of our feral horses that Velma worked so hard to protect. Thanks for your time, Cheryl

Her weight has gone up from 11lbs to 14.1lbs and she is responding to the Chemo Pill No problems. The Vet even used the word "Remission". So, to be cautious, I'll say she is on her way to Remission. I think if I can get her weight up a little more one more pound maybe, She'll be in full remission I think. It feels like she'll be surprising the vets in a positive way. I feel very good about it. Thank you for asking.
|A. Medina||RE: Biopsy|
She came through the Biopsy no pain, no problems. It was just a needle biopsy. The Vet said it hasn't spread anywhere. The Leukemia is Chronic not acute and we still have time. At least 2 years even without treatment. With treatment its a who knows how long. The Chemo is only a pill every other day. We'll be starting an anti nausea pill along with it in about a week. She's gained weight again, she's in no pain and is showing a lot of her old self again. She feels pretty darned good and I have at least two years to spoil her rotten and play and give her all good things in life.
