"I encourage everyone to use the photos for whatever reason best suits their purpose. In my opinion, family photos, including these headstone photos need to be distributed between family members. The more people that have copies of them, the more likely they are to survive to future generations."(Quoted from Laurie Wilson's profile).
Chaney, Margaret Hi, Edward, thanks for the reply. I have a problem, I have Margaret dying in 2007, so did Arthur and Margaret divorce? I am researching the John H. and Margaret Hart Smith line (Sudie/Susan Smith dau.). Having a problem finding John H. Smith's father, know he is a Mike/Michael, but nothing else..
RE: Rev Jack Carlin Farmer So glad I could help you. His sister-in-law Hazel Lindsey died a couple days ago and I noticed her sister's links. When I saw Farmer, I thought of you. I met Hazel in Dec. at her book signing and really enjoyed reading her life story.
Larry Ingram I transferred your cousin, Larry Ingram's memorial to you for management. I hope that's okay. I worked with Larry and was very fond of him and wanted to memorialize him here but I feel that it's only fitting that a family member have control of his memorial.
Stella Aslee Starling I see that you did some of the information for Stella. She is my gr gr aunt on my father's side. Are you by chance of any relation to the family? Her sister was my gr grandmother Myrtle Pearline Starling. I have some other family history if you would like it. Thank you.
RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 42641867 Rufus Wyrick Hi Ed. I'm not sure if we can merge the two memorials, but we can definitely add all of the links and the other information on the Memorial that I created. You can use any of my pictures, etc. that I have added to Find A Grave. I think it is important to share when it concerns genealogy. I can transfer the memorial to you if you want. I'm not a descendant of the Wyrick's. Thanks so much. Please let me know if you would like the memorial transferred to you. Thanks for all of your contributions to Find A Grave.
RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 144549869 Thanks for the reply regarding Tempy Galyon. I am not inclined to think that her grave site is the Hall Cemetery in Roane County. When she died shortly after the 1870 census David's family had no connection to the Hall family. I will do some more checking on their locations in 1870 and 1880. I really believe that David was buried there only because Nancy was married to John L. Hall and that David's wife "Ellie" could have married him for his pension or he was not especially close to her family. Several unknowns in that story. Happy hunting!
