Stimacs at Forest Hill Cemetery
Thanks very much for the transfer of the Stimacs and for the pictures of their gravestones. The JANE family in Cornwall will be happy to know where some of the family lived after they emigrated.

I thought I'd let you know that I believe the letter to Frances from P.M. Getzen is a great addition to his memorial. It does explain the difference between the name on the headstone (Getzen) and the name on his memorial (Gerritzen).

I have encountered similar circumstances in a community in Northwest Ohio, although - once the spelling of the last name was changed - it was used on the family's business, records, and headstone.

My own family name was spelled one way on the ship's manifest (when my ancestor came to the US) and as it is now (sometime after).

Family history is so interesting...

RE: Posts ????
I've been working hard and sent so many, I would not know how to recover or resend? I think everything is OK. Should I request transfers in the future?

Thank you so much for the photo of the gravestone for my grandmother's cousin Doskie, and mine twice removed. It is appreciated.
