Emmert cemetery, Memorial# 69647989 Nancy Ann Culp Hittle
Franklin Reporter, Sept. 30, 1882

Death of Mrs. Nancy Hittle

Mrs. Nancy Hittle died at her home about four miles north-west of Franklin Grove last Saturday morning, aged 71 years and 12 days. She was born in Columbia Co., Pennsylvania and came to this county about 40 years ago. Her remains were buried in the cemetery on the Dixon road last Sunday. A very large number of neighbors and friends were present to pay their last rrespects. The funeral discourse was preached by Rev. Levi Trostle.

This was in the August 2014 Lee Co. Genealogical Society's newsletter. She was the sister of my 2nd gr. grandmother Catherine Culp who married Nathan Hetler.

I'm sorry I wasn't clearer. I had sent a correction, but then realized I had made an error and wanted to make sure you ignored my correction.

Ephriam Fritz 79481764
Hi Debra,
This info on Ephriam was taken from the History of Lee County, South Dixon township:"Ephraim Fritz, farmer, Dixon, son of Ananias and Harriet Fritz, was born in Somerset Co. PA, September 30, 1847. His parents migrated to South Dixon,Lee Co., in April, 1852 and bought a farm of 135 acres in S. E. 1/4 Sec13. It has a southern aspect and is well adapted for agrilculture and pasturage. His mother died in 1864 and his father has removed to Kansas, where at present he farms 140 acres. The subject of this sketch, July 10,1873, was united in marriage to Miss. A. C. Seibert, daughter of Rev. James L. W. Seibert, Somerset Co., PA. They have 3 children, 2 girls and one boy, named Flora Amelia, Harry Seibert and Ida May, aged respectively 7, 5, and 4 years. Mr. Fritz was for 3 years in the Illinois Central Railroad Office at Eldena." Written sometime around 1872.

Could you replace the information on his memorial or if you prefer, you can transfer it to me. My number is 48256557. If you do transfer, please also transfer his wife and daughter.

Many thanks, Tina.
