|I love spending an afternoon in a cemetery. The older and more unusual the graves, the better! I have photos or documentation for most of the memorials I have posted. I do not upload bulk data. Please feel free to inquire directly if I didn't upload a photo.|
Copyright is reserved on all my photos. Written permission is required in advance, including a link to any family tree on any genealogical website.
Memorial transfers are available to immediate family members (parents, sibling, children, grands) upon polite request. Please remember that other family members also have rights and feelings about certain memorials.
The actual inscription or the supporting cemetery/death record is the "fact" I use for the purposes of this site. The value of Find-A-Grave is the wonderful and unparalleled access to grave and cemetery records. It is not a genealogical database, a publication forum, or a chance to acquire ownership. The stones, records, and inscriptions may be erroneous. But, they are the historical record of the event as it exists and that is the value. I will always correct my own mistakes when you find them.
My goal is to provide documentation of as many cemeteries as possible to help people in their research. I will link family members and update existing memorials as time permits. All requests must include supporting documentation to be considered. I have observed many unintentional genealogical errors introduced with great enthusiasm and the best of intentions. Such errors are difficult and time consuming to correct. Information added to memorials will be credited to you. It will be declined if no source data is offered.
I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to make this site so great. Let's go pay it forward! See you at the cemetery!

May I have your permission to use your photo of Hendrick's gravestone (showing the entire monument) on WeRelate.org, the genealogy Wiki? I believe it would be a great addition to his page and I would, of course, give you attribution for it.
|Debbie B.||Thank you!|
Thank you for your help in taking photos of some of my distant relatives headstones there in Ohio. I am far away in Washington State and truly appreciate your help. :-)

William Sater is my ggggrandfather. His parents are Joseph Sater (#21048524)and
Hannah (Levering) Sater (#21048522). Please make these family links on his
memorial. The information is included in the text, but the link is not made.
Please include the links on his memorial.
Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for posting Alvin's grave stone. His records we're lost in the 1973 fire. So every bit of info helps.
