Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am not related to everyone I add. Some memorials are added in the interest of genealogy.

I am a member of
Daughters of the American Revolution.

Accuracy is very important to me and while great care is taken with transcriptions, mistakes sometimes happen. If you notice an error or have suggestions or additions please email. I will happily transfer memorials using Find A Grave guidelines.

RE: Edward C. Knott
I am fairly new to this board and not sure what having a memorial means? If you could explain that I would appreciate it.

Thank you for the quick response and excellent photo. I will use the information in my tree and list as unmarked grave.

Dear Pamela,
Thanks for your trip to get photos. A long shot of the gravesite would be very much appreciated. Thank you so much for all your hard work.

Mary Ann Curtis
Thank you for the information on Mary Ann. Do you happen to know where here father is buried?

We used cemtery several cemetery reading to add some memorials-but he might be there and there is no record. Any clues?

Curtiss research
I happened upon your record for Leander S. Curtis in my search for my great-grandfather's sister Mary A. Curtiss. My great-grandfather's father was Leander A. Curtiss (who is buried in Branch County, Michigan--not far from the Curtis family members you have linked to your profile).

Not sure if you would have any information as to whether or how my Curtiss relatives fit in to the Curtis family you are researching (although a slightly different spelling--the name is close enough!).

Thank you for any help you can give...

Joseph Neurauter
Hi Pam, I will also send you an email.
Joseph Neurauter & Theresa came to Eliis Island with my Great-grandfather Sebastian Neurauter arriving in 1882 via the Devonia ship out of Sweden. They left Hamburg for Sweden in December of 1881 with Franz Neurauter. Franz's name does not appear on the Devonia ship passenger list with Joseph, Theresa & Sebastian. so far I have not been able to determine where Franz went after arriving in Sweden.
My only living cousin, daughter of my Uncle Edward A Neurauter has a daughter-n-law who has done some research. Last year emailed Peter Neurauter living about 100 miles east of Innsbrook. He told me our surname goes back to 1605 in Oetz, Tirol, Austria when The Neurauter's lived in a castle overlooking the valley of Oetz.
