I've enjoyed photography as a hobby for a number of years, and I got hooked on genealogy in 2008. FindAGrave allows me to combine both hobbies.

I would like to thank you for all your headstone pictures and especially for adding the inscription in the caption. Nothing is more frustrating than to have a headstone picture that you can't read the inscription.

|Virginia Combs||Nathaniel's Father|
I have created a memorial for Nathaniel's father, Peter Joslin and his mother, Alice Woods Joslin. Would you mind linking Nathaniel to them?
Peter Joslin #131364741
Alice Woods Joslin #131364998
Thanks in advance!

I thought you might be interested in the birthdate of Nathaniel Joslin...at least as recorded in The History of Waitsfield. His son Joseph apparently moved to Waitsfield, Vt, following his grown sons in about 1806. According to the genealogical information in the book on Page 361, Nathaniel was born Nov 11, 1729. My great grandmother was a descendant of his and was raised in Waitsfield. She was the daughter of Almon Joslin, granddaughter of Joseph who was born 1776 ad died 1865, and great-granddaughter of Joseph born 1753 and died 1819. Therefore, Nathaniel was her great-great grandfather. I have more information on the family and if you're interested, I'd be happy to have you contact me. Thanks! Ginni Combs

Could you please add a photo of Woodlawn
Cemetery to James Brody's memorial?
|Kate Lambert ||Jeremiah Wilson #30125318|
I'm looking for genealogical info on Jeremiah. There is a possibility that my 4th great grandfather is in fact Jeremiah's grandson and I'm looking to confirm or deny. Are you a family member?

Thank you for the speedy response.
|south-palatine, germany||Mary Rose Francis (-1804) # 61685804|
her sister: Sarah Rose Brisco (1772-1822) "Sally" # 36408563 and their "father" Edward Rose (1784-1841) # 63494264
I left a note on Mary's memorial: "Something does not fit in this family construction ... Mary's so called "father" Edward was born in 1784(!) and had through her several grandchildren born between 1789 and 1804 ?? - His "daughter" Sarah Rose Brisco, born 1772 ... born 12 yrs before her own father was born ??"
