After retirement from being an elementary school teacher, I have become more involved in genealogy. Visiting cemeteries has helped me complete some missing facts of my ancestors. Since it is impossible to visit all the locations where ancestors are buried, I have found findagrave.com to be a way to see the stones of many of my ancestors.|
Memorials that I have in Newton, Barry, and McDonald Counties, Missouri, and Ottawa County, Oklahoma, are not related to me. I have found these stones walking cemeteries and taking photos of the stones. Memorials that I maintain in Jasper County, Missouri, are not related to me. I would be happy to transfer any of these memorials to family members. The reason that I have added photos is to help families find their ancestors.
Please do not post death certificates or obits in the photo section of memorials that I maintain. I would like for this space to be available for descendants to add personal photos. Thank you for helping with this.

Verified this morning and made correction to Oklahoma. Thank you.

I know there is one in Oklahoma and one in Missouri. Let me know. I thought it was the east.

I was at the funeral. Are you saying there is a different Seneca Cemetery? I don't understand your correction.

I just wanted to tell you that I visited Union Cemetery in Missouri several weeks ago and took a few photos, but the pictures that I took do not even start to compare to the wonderful beautiful photos that you loaded onto the website over the years. If you are not a pro, you should be.

My name is Carolyn Reece Lemon and my grandmother is Larise Lee Logsdon Find A Grave#34692137. It says she is buried in Howard Cemetery, Goodman, Missouri, Mc/Donald county. You took a picture of her headstone and I know I'm probably asking an impossible question but do you know where her headstone is located in the cemetery? Several of my relatives and myself have spent hours searching for it and we cannot find it. Any help you can give us would be appreciated.

Thanks for letting me know about the duplicates, which have been deleted after the information from them was sent to the creator of the original memorials.
|Anita D.||Parmelia Ellizabeth Rowland Bush|
I sent you a couple of "edit' messages, if I'd looked at all the information on the memorial, I would had seen Parmelia does not have a stone, but I looked at the stone that is posted on her memorial, which must be her husband. Sorry for all the messages

Thank you for the other transfers. I logged in tonight to request them (and to apologize for the delay in sending my requests; my fiance had surgery a few months ago & we've had some unexpected trips to doctors' offices...she's doing great now).
So, anyway, just wanted to drop you a line & say hi and thank you:)
And thank you for what you do for other ppl of this site & their relatives:)
|Chris Bergstrom||Blanche Valda Rhine|
forgive me if i asked you before, are you related to Blanche Valda Lucas Rhine?

Due to all the confusion I went ahead and deleted my memorial. I see you have a photo of the headstone but there is no death date on it(?) I have had several relatives that had headstones at one cemetery but then were buried at another. I was going off the information from her death certificate for the Seneca cemetery burial.
Perhaps the Johnston-Arnce-Simpson Funeral Director in Webb City, MO would have accurate burial info. I am not a relative so I doubt they would give me that info though.
I was able to find her husband, Moses, out in Idaho and sent the link info to the contributor.
Thank you for bringing this interesting memorial to my attention.
