RE: Thanks
It was my pleasure and you are very welcome! I'd like to give a little back story to that photo. It was freezing cold that day and I'm not sure of where you are but this cemetery is located in a very rural area of Ohio. The sun was beautiful that day but with the wind and cold temperatures and open fields, the wind cut right through me! It was SO cold. haha. I basically drove around the cemetery looking for headstones that were large and easy to read. I found this headstone after my third time of circling the cemetery with my 4 year old sitting in the back seat saying, "you found it, you found it!" We were happy to get that picture, let me add! Just thought I'd share that story. :)

RE: Thank You
You're very welcome. I was very good friends with Vince Costanza. He was the president of our shooting club. He came to our school one day looking for kids interested in NRA target shooting programs. I joined. A bunch of us joined. My dad even joined and he and Vince became close friends that lasted until my dad passed in 2003. I still have the reloading equipment my dad bought from Vince back in the 80s. Vince was a good man. I'll never forget him and the good times we had at the range and on Henry Street. RIP to a good man... Ron

RE: Lincoln (Linkon) at Windham Center Cemeter
I think things are getting straightened out...

Vicky has put Hanna Axtell Linkon #46474827 back in a cemetery unknown...most likely buried in PA.

I have asked Vicky to remove the gravestone inscription line that states she was the wife of John.

I have removed my gravestone photos from her memorial page..since it is not correct.

Ricbkb has put in edits for the two female children with the "Stowell" maiden name perhaps to remove them from this Hanna as she was not their mother.

My question is you have put in a photo request for Hanna Linkon d 1781 #134658154 in Windham Center Cemetery...but there are already gravestone it says Feby 3 1791 on her gravestone. Do you want clearer photos and is this the wife of John?? Are you sure of the date??

Thanks so much,

RE: Lincoln (Linkon) at Windham Center Cemeter
No...I think John Lincoln's gravestone photos are ok..

and wife of John...Anna (Hanna) Lincoln's memorial page has no gravestone photos...

and wife of Thomas Axell and Nathan Linkon...Hanna Axtell Linkon's memorial page has 2 sets of the same gravestone photos that I believe are for a different woman.

Just realized why I didn't see it before...her last name is Axtell Linkon....not just Lincoln/Linkon.

Such confusion!!

RE: Lincoln (Linkon) at Windham Center Cemeter
Now I'm really confused...

The memorial page #46474827..

1. it states her 2nd husband was Nathan Linkon

2. but her gravestone transcription reads "wife of John Linkon"

3. she died in Windham PA...and was transported to Windham CT in 1791??

4. some of her children have the maiden name of "Stowell??

I think there are several women by the name of Hanna Linkon who have been combined into one!!! I wonder where the facts have come from...vital records or just internet "hearsay"??

If this is the apparently combined memorial page...there are 2 of the same gravestone photos of mine on the same page.

Let me know if this gets straightened out...I assume the gravestone photo is the one I would have taken in the future when the weather is clear.

RE: Lincoln (Linkon) at Windham Center Cemeter
I just looked at my pages that I had copied for the Windham Center Cemetery gravestones (because it is a huge cemetery and these copied pages are by the order in which the gravestones were found) and found John Lincoln d 7 June 1810 and there above his name is Hannah Linkon, wife of John Linkon, died 3 Feb 1791, age 65 years (and above her is Rebeckah Linkon, wife of John Linkon, died 26 Mar 1758, age 26 years). I have marked that Hannah's gravestone photograph was already taken but I don't see her in the cemetery memorial pages at all for that name/date with a photo. Rickb said that her gravestone memorial page was merged with another and now the original with photo is missing...I don't know what happened. The mystery has been solved (sort of) and I will put Hannah (and John...not my best photo and other Lincoln/Linkon's in the same area) on my gravestone photo list and take her photo on the next good day.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention,

you did not provide the memorial number.
