Bio Photo I'm a veteran of the U.S. Army.

In my free time, I'm a military researcher / historian whose key area of interest is in the World War II and Korean War eras. However, my overall, never-ending goal is to try to acknowledge the service of all our country's warriors.

In an effort to accomplish this goal, I created the Military Hall of Honor to honor all veterans, living and deceased, and use it along with FindaGrave. Membership is free and available to all who wish to contribute military records, bios, honor the military with tributes, leave remembrances, etc.

Thanks for ...
Your memorials and photos for many of my classmates and friends.
I hope someone takes and posts one of the cemetery with the WAA wreaths at this time of year, especially the view from across Dorsey Creek and including the Jeannette Monument. When I was a mid I always liked that view.

Thank you for the kind message on my Grandfather's page (Jack Garner Allen). I found this site by google and was overwhelmed with happiness when I saw that his page was not left empty.

Sgt Milo R Boyles
Since you knew Sgt Boyles and I have no connection other than entering his memorial & stone photo, I am going to transfer his memorial to you so you can enter the info you have furnished.

Thank you for adding the info I sent and for putting my name for the person who maintains her site. I think you might have to put my contributor number in to transfer it to me because I still can't go in and add anything. My find a grave contributor number is 48018326.

RE: Lieut William Lennington Brown
I would be honored to manage his memorial. His nephew's wife paid tribute to him which really hit home for me. She stated, "He volunteered to serve in Vietnam with the hopes of sparing another man who might have had a wife and children." My father was a Marine fighter pilot - WWII and Korea. He didn't come home from Korea. He was also a William Brown.

Thank you.

Going nack to your profile anf your interests. My class graduated six weeks before the Korean armistice, although many expected to be involved in our first ships, and like me were active in 7th Fleet operations the following winter. We almost all served through all of Viet Nam and like me, were in country or in Fleet or AF combat operations, and we lost several. Some who were appointed from the fleet served in WW2 where several saw combat.

Thank you. I considered that my posting it to Roy was a continuation of your post since he and Pat will dhare that niche. I do think that you deseve credit for the photo itself, which is why I named you in the caption. I get enough credit ftom my classmates for the virtual cemetery and the memorials that I create myself for those that do not exist already, and do not seek it for the work of others, nor am I "keeping score" as some contributors seem to do. Thanks for having done Pat's memorial. She was a lovely person and a great "honorary classmate" through Roy, although we do not formalize that status for the spouses who have been with us from the outset.
