|I have been doing family research for own family, friends and other people upon request for many years. I am delighted with FInd A Grave and the opportunity to share research data with others in this format. My husband and I are retired educators having both taught in public school, university level and been administrators. My family lines include, Keating, Snider, Whitaker, Heinle, Cobb, Robertson, Gann, Routh, Carter, Dunn, Williams, Taylor. Also have extensive research on my husband, John's, lines, Collie, Jones, Mattox, Moran, Rimer, Snodgrass, Cockrell, Huey. After dragging my husband through cemeteries all over the country for years in my research, he is delighted to have me do it on Find A Grave and is even helping.|
The following sums up what this adventure is all about.
The Story Teller
We are the chosen. In each family, there is one who seems called to find the ancestors. To put flesh on their bones and make them live again, to tell the family story and feel that somehow they know and approve. Doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but instead breathing life into all those who have gone before. We are the storytellers of the tribe. All tribes have one. We have been called, as it were, by our genes. Those who have gone before cry out to us, "Tell our story". - Unknown

|Summer Ruth||Routh Family Lines|
Hi. I married into the Routh (Ruth) family and have begun my research into this family. I am interested in any information that you may have. Please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
|Cynthia Kirgis||Moses McDonald|
I saw where you had left a message on Moses McDonald's page in Plains Cementary in New Mexico. He is my Great great grandfather and I was just wanting to know how you are related to him?
Thank you, Cynthia (Miller)Kirgis
Hope that you and your daughter are doing well
|Mary Jane Vennitti||Leonard Williams|
The Leonard Williams, the father, did not have Houston as a middle name. He gave his son, Leonard, Houston as a middle name in recognition of Sam Houston.
Hello! I am doing research on the Cobb line. You have Edward Cobb as being a son of Pharaoh Cobb and his second wife, Jebrah.
I can find no documents listing Pharaoh as having a son named Edward. Only his son Joseph is listed in any documents I can find.
Also, you show Edward as having been born in 1662 when Pharaoh was still married to his first wife, Ann.
Could you please provide the sources for your information?
|Michelle (Porteous) Price||Stancil Cobb|
I just wanted to reach out and say hello to a distant cousin. We share a common ancestor via Stancil Cobb. Stancil was my 5th Great Grandfather.
My lineage is routed below:
David Cobb > Stancil Cobb > Emeline Cobb Reed > Martha Reed Rogers > Jefferson C. Rogers, Jr. > Benjamin Franklin Rogers> Barbara Inez Rogers Horton > E. Del Horton > Me!
I am enjoying my researching of my paternal grandmother's family. So many treasures I have found. What a historical family lineage. So exciting.
Hope this finds you well.

We only show Leonard Houston Crabtree as the child of Job and Melinda. After Job and Melinda died, Leonard went to live with Thomas Williams his uncle. My wife is a great great granddaughter of Melinda and Job thru Stanley Walker Crabtree
