Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi .. I found this site by a mutual researcher sending me the link and found it to be a GREAT asset! I enjoy doing family research so much I started collecting all records, pictures and what ever on my surname NANCE, and other variations of spelling NANCES/NANTZ/NANTS ect...

I would be glad to add to or update bio information for that individual or transfer (If not my own relatives) ownership of the ones I have added. ALSO I have sent in hundreds of additions/corrections to memorials. PLEASE SEND NAME & MEMORIAL # with any request or replies to these additions/corrections I have sent.

If I have put a flower on any NANCE/NANTZ/NANTS ect, I probably have info. to share. as I research all these lines. ONLY ON THE NANCE SIDES. PLEASE SEND MEMORIAL # with request, I have put flowers on over 14,000+ memorials. thanks :) I am the admin. of a group NANCE (surname) From Around the World on Facebook for those researching NANCE lines. This is a private group for Nance researchers so you will have to send me a private message to get in.

THANK YOU! To those who fill photo request and those who correct mistakes, and removing duplicates!!

For the rest of you people what's up with you? You don't own any of these memorials!! And your NOT the only one related!!!

I get so tired of hearing people say they wont delete a duplicate memorial because.. {for whatever reason!!}.

Per F.A.G. rules.. You should never deliberately create a duplicate memorial. You should use the tools provided to submit corrections, additions or a transfer request via the "Suggest A Correction" link under the 'Edit' tab on the upper right of the memorial. !! THIS MEANS YOU TOO!! Even if you do have more information! I find this as YOU being inconsiderate to those who created the original, for all you know they are related too.. ALSO do a search for the person your about to add by name and one of the known years, birth or death, not just search the cemetery your about to add them to. Some people create memorials for family members they don't know where they are buried. I am not impressed by numbers, more impressed by accuracy and willingness to be helpful!!

If the duplicates end up getting merged it sometimes creates 2 people listed with same name under parents, depending on how people are attached to each other.. Do you want that???

William & Mildred Nance, and Ella Rundle
Good morning Sonia…recently, I was able to locate the graves of William Gideon Nance (53403484), his wife Mildred (172727494) and her mother Ella Rundle (147169824). Unfortunately, they are all unmarked (see the pictures of the grave sites on their Memorials).

I did create the Memorial for Mildred. Since you may be related to Mildred, I was wondering if you would like to take over the management of her Memorial.

Please let me know.

Carla Williamson Tiller
Sally J. Nance
Hi Sonia,
I must be a distant cousin through my great-grandmother, Emma Nance Williamson, who married Colon Williamson. They are both buried at Macedonia Church Cemetery. I am doing some research and have found conflicting information about my great-great grandmother, Emma Nance Williamson's mother, who was Sally J. Nance, wife of Everett Nance. A distant Williamson cousin has documented that her maiden name was Sarah J. Hedgepeth (nickname Sallie). There is a FindaGrave memorial for her that shows her as Sallie, wife of E.J. Nance, was born Dec. 18th, 1848, died Oct. 17, 1938 and is buried at Proctorville Cemetery in Robeson County. The information you posted has her maiden name as Williamson, born May 4, 1840, died Feb. 2, 1932, and buried in Nance Cemetery in Columbus County. Do you have any more information about her? So many different people had the same names, it makes it very difficult to know who is actually my great-great grandmother. Thank you for all of your previous research and help!

Amy Williams Nance
No problem. Just like this one I have been trying to get transferred, people create wrong information and then they block everyone out, and won't make themselves available to correct it. A woman's correct maiden name and correct parents are VERY important because it can throw hundreds of researchers off for years. This one in particular has been confused as Williamson for many, many years. Those of us researching her, decided it was important we get all sources corrected. Thanks.

Just to let you know, I finally got findagrave to transfer Amy WILLIAMS (NOT Williamson)Nance to me so I can make the corrections to her memorial. I know it may not be important to you that we get the information correct, but those of us that descend from Amy Williams Nance, it is important to us. I have now deleted the duplicate.

No, I guess I'm not positive it's her. I took the dat from my database for a Carrie Dennis Nants.
